I remember in a Doritos commercial a guy trained his dog to retrieve and he told the dog to fetch him a bare naked woman but before he could finish the sentence the dog came back with a bear.
Yeah, you realized literally any animal can do these things if trained properly. Even cats. The fact that dogs are called man's best friend is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
@@janetsalvador-garcia8667 yes, but the thing they are build for is tracking their prey and hunting like they do here or when they hunt with humans 😁 its what they are made for, like wolves.
It's amazing to me when I see an animal doing something with so much skill. He's just sitting there but you can see how well trained he is and ready to work.
I had a Labrador. I was a champion athlete at sprints and middle distance. He was very big and ‘fat’ but could pretty much kick my butt at long runs. Everyone was amazed at how they were knackered and he was just getting started!
Most ppl don’t realize “working” dogs need the stimulation & it thrills them to work. Shepherds love to shepherd… retrievers love to retrieve… bloodhounds love to hound lol when I lived on the Oregon coast we had to take our border collie to the beast everyday & if the weather was bad we would do fun memory/treat games or with toys to stimulate them. I hate when ppl have a worker dog & just keep them indoors doing nothing all day, the dog hates it & it’s not a “vacation” they’d rather be working
Yup. My grandpa used to take his black lab to the lake and throw driftwood out for him to fetch. We'd do this for hours, even during winter. He loves swimming
Definitely. I had a Great Pyrenees once and she absolutely loved to prowl the yard and adjoining field several times a day in any kind of weather to “protect her flock.” She loved it, and I honestly believe she was proud to do it. Still miss that sweetie. ❤️🐶❤️
@@lyrisio The dog is very obviously muscular. They’re undergoing training that could be used for work as well. So how is this dog doing nothing but being fat and “humngous” ?
They were bred to be accustomed to gunshots because hunters used them to retrieve small game after making the kill, I guess that's why the dog is being trained like this.
Squirrel hunting with my grandfather and his hound,we could bag our limit before lunch....dog made it easy. No technology could best our method or come close.
Its super sad to hear the vegan croud say now that we can make meat we should never need to hunt for meat..... why cant they jusst understand its not realy even about the meat its about connecting to nature in the most pure way and being how we are meant to be
@@Laced30s probably diet, there are some bulk diets for dogs that are pretty crazy they can put on muscle pretty fast when they eat healthy just like us. Most kibble is kinda like us eating McDonald's
@@Laced30s ya people would rather let there animals sit there and be lazy all day. I plan on bulking up my dog this year. I've got a mastiff German shepherd mix, so he's a little lazy but its in his blood from the mastiff in him. But he's 120 pounds and I feel if I get a weighted vest for him change his diet up and go on runs with him I could probably get him down to like 110 105 and way leaner
@@b3_op103 exactly, well said. I respect that you want better for your dog✊ good luck with that! your dog sounds awesome with those mixes so i’m sure he’ll kill it🦾 take care !
Love people who know how to work a dog. You can tell he works with him all the time between his discipline and patience and the freaking muscles that scream I TRAIN!!!! AWESOME!!!!!
@@alvarozehzinho2968 my man...I have a pure breed 2 years old labrador retriever with pedigree from a breeder and I saw both parents...that might be a mix or labrador Dudley...check on google the labradors queen of England has or labradors in Canada...you will find how a real labrador should look like...there.s even a coast named labrador in canada it.s been named like that cuz in history it says they migrated from uk in canada on that coast...so...you shut up
@@helenmallazzo7094 It’s not due to the collar. It’s from years of selecting the dogs with the most drive to retrieve. Then add years of training to help express those drives in a productive way. Pretty ignorant statement.
My old boy Hero was the best duck dog I ever hunted over. I spent at least an hour or two exercising and training with him every day for 2 years until I had him trained with hand signals and whistle commands. I hunted over dogs that were trained by professionals you see on ESPN, people who spent 5 grand or more to have their dog trained and they didnt hold a candle to him. He retrieved geese, swans, ducks, doves, and even half assed pointed at quails. He was the best, and there will never be another one like him. RIP Hero.
I’ve worked at a dog farm where they trained dogs to do this. It’s really an amazing thing to watch. It takes a lottt of focusing and training with the dog, and they start them when they’re puppies
@@greygoose8803 you do realized we have scientific proof now that showed plants have an ultrasonic scream when being ripped apart? We proved plants are alive and can feel pain… process that knowing you killed plants from Mother Nature for your energy
@@bryantipton5573 this channel that uploaded this video isn't the original person who recorded and uploaded the clip. I'm sure we can figure out who it is AND subscribe to them. I would also love to see more vids of this dog and owner. This dog is a beast!
I think that all the time😂 Cats are cute but dogs can do search & rescue, hunting, trauma & cadavar detection, find drugs, be a bodyguard, be guidedogs.... the list goes on.
@@terra20209 ummm, you're talking about housecats, the domesticated felines?? As far as real combat goes, they're fodder. There's a reason why dogs kill cats the time. How often do cats kill dogs? I've never heard of it happening once.
I helped out with this in high-school and it was really cool we got to throw dead ducks use duck calls and a boom gun which mimics the sound of a gunshot.
Its amazing how happy this makes them. Seeing them do what they were bred to do, it really makes you appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating a dog like this, including the generations and generations of previous dogs that led to this point. Its a wonderful and fulfilling thing.
My grandfather raised Labs for bird hunting. Some of the best guard dogs out there, especially if you have kids or, other family members or pets, since Labs by nature don't seem to want to bite.
I bred labs for years and used to start mine with duck wings, pheasant wings, shed antlers, etc. before their eyes were even open. They would light up and retrieve at such an early age! Absolutely amazing dogs! All they want to do is please you! Yours looks exceptional. Great job!
Duck: "ahh beautiful day outside today." *Gunshot* "what was that?!" "Oh no terry what happened to you?" "I was shot!" "wait is that a dog?" "OH SH*T IT IS"
@@MrBazzos Not really. Most animals who are shot don’t even get to register that they’ve been shot before they’re gone. The majority of hunters aim to kill them as quickly as possible. If you eat meat, you have no room to talk smack about ethical hunters.
@@official_jack Ah so because they aren’t aware of their impending doom it’s not cruel? And yes you are correct, if I did eat meat then I would be a hypocrite, good job I don’t then.
