Tbf Eldlich was carried super hard by floods. Most of this is just Labrynth on their own, the EEVs and Barriers are just icing on the cake. But man i am hoping the latter 2 cards get banned now, this is getting wild

Labrynth have actual core cards that are making it much better, but I can’t help agree that banning EEV is the move aside from the play it’s seeing now. I hope that Labrynth stay a competitive deck as it’s one of my favorite archetypes and card designs (aside from the furniture). 🤩🤣

@@truekingofallgeneraidersban EEV and Barrier as well any other floodgate.. rollback with then arias and the new Zeus for the very first time in the history of the game allows Konami to ban floodgates without making traps unplayable since those 3 cards bridge the speed gap allowing trap decks to still be competitive without ever needing floodgates, now Konami can actually start to ban floodgates since with these new cards traps no longer rely on floodgates to be playable outside of a casual setting

- one furniture that looks like a lamp(?) - the gardener (i say gardener because she's holding a scissor and the art in big welcome looks like its set in a garden) - one more welcome labrynth trap If you read the lore, you'll see that the knight, through its journey in the castle visited: - the entrance (welcome, greeted by arianna & arianne) - the stairs (farewelcome, where the knight defeated the furnitures) - the garden (big welcome, greeted by arias & the gardener) .. TBC, after this it's said that the princess itself cannot contain her excitement and proceeded to change into her battle uniform (lady), rushing straight to the knight location while the castle is still full of active traps (hence her protections). So we should have 1 more final welcome labrynth normal trap where the princess "welcome(d)" the knight herself. That should be conclusion of the lore i guess.

From the comments here I can see many people hate trap deck, but no one talking how purrely destroy this deck. No one talking how combo deck are so broken witn their one card combo. And also no one talk how labrynth need dump 2 card just to play a normal trap card. It's sad how when a trap deck will be slightly better for going second people already mad about it. No wonder people just so happy see labrynth deck destroyed last time with one card in last tourney last time

@@zerdoyt2057 It's not a combo deck, it's a control deck. Having plays and searches doesn't make it combo. A control deck focuses on controlling the game state by disrupting the opponent, amassing resources and replenishing said resources to maintain control of the board, which is literally what this deck does. There's that misconception about a control deck being just flipping cards.

Transaction Rollback needs to get banned or limited to 1, it just turns any of your D-Barriers or EEVs on grave not even including your Lab cards popping off. It made the deck faster along with Butler and a milled EEV can be activated via Butler. Ban EEV and Transaction Rollback, D-Barrier could stay though at 1 copy.

Instead of rollback why not EEV and barrier alongside any other floodgate? with Agov labrynth a trap deck can for the very first time in the history of yugioh be viable if not good without any floodgate. Cards like rollback, arias and the new Zeus should be left at 3 (except Zeus) since doing so would actually give Konami the ability to ban floodgates without making a main mechanic and type of card that has been in the game since it's very inception completely unviable and unplayable in a competitive setting Traps without floodgates or Agov cards and rollback are simply too slow to ever be any viable. What would you and as consequence konami keep to allow the actual trap mechanic to still have any viability and playability in any sort of competitive setting ? The toxic floodgates that have been an issue for decades and are despised by the entire community as well the customers of Konami or the cards that finally allow to bridge the absolutely immense speed gap between traps and litteraly any other mechanic released in the history of yugioh allowing traps to no longer run those very same toxic floodgates.. the answer is really simple.. you ban the toxic floodgates and keep the cards that help to close the speed gap Imperm and evenly obviously don't count since with both you got the option to activate them from the hand ignoring the immense and unfathomable speed gap althogether

@reetardkun2098 floodgates are never going to go anywhere and that's the reality, even if some do get hit others if not stronger ones will take their place. If Konami really wanted to ban floodgates, they would have done so years ago. Floodgates will always be here and will exist in yugioh until the end of the life cycle, same with generic cards.

La Draw Phase del oponente es tu Main Phase 3, o tu Draw Phase es la main Phase 0, jajajajaja. Este deck no solo hace esas jugadas sucias, sino que encima tiene toda una navaja suiza de herramientas. Hasta esto 10:51 es posible ahora, resucitar un Chaos Angel, ¡Guau!

@Davidutul all that needs to happens is to ban EEV, then it's fine. The majority of decks these days play on the opponents turn, this is something that is becoming part of yugioh especially with new decks releasing. Mannadium, branded, floowandereeze, traptrix, kashtira, etc can all play on the opponents turn. The list goes on and on. Also yes labrynth is getting more support. Arias the Labrynth Butler Level 6 ATK 1500 DEF 2500 During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand or field to the GY; from your hand, either Special Summon 1 "Labrynth" monster, or Set 1 Normal Trap. That Set card can be activated this turn. When your opponent activates a card or effect in response to the activation of your "Labrynth" card or effect, except "Labrynth Butler Arias", or your Normal Trap Card or effect, while this card is in your GY (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Labrynth Butler Arias" once per turn.

Awesome content as usual! I love Labrynth gameplay!! So disheartening to see so many whining over EEV and Floodgates, when we see/saw combo based decks running amok and no one says a thing if it's 5+ negate board alongside a towers and hand traps to cause insta scoop, but sure lets hate on purple cards and all who utilize them🤣

Deck is perfectly fine with EEV and barrier banned, those cards are what makes labrynth somewhat egregious, cards like rollback or the in archetype labrynth cards shouldn't be hit for the simple fact that traps are such a terrible and slow mechanic that they need such good cards to ever be competitive without floodgates

They should ban EEV and Barrier, lady doesn't need to be banned or limited for the simple fact that trap decks need to be this fast to actually ever compete, people keep forgetting that the trap main mechanic is the slowest in the game and is unplayable outside of a casual setting if you don't do anything about it's speed, also this is the very first time in the history of the game in which a trap deck is good exclusively off it's own engine Deck is actually fine without lingering floodgates like EEV and Barrier so Konami should just ban those

I think people just arent used to trap decks being good. Labrynth is the first trap deck thats actually good with its own engine. They can easily ban floodgate traps and they are good still
