I was a vivid branded hater for a minute, I liked the decks gameplay, designs and the art is gorgeous I just hated going up against it because it felt like I couldn't do anything. But after playing it myself for a few weeks I fell in love with the deck because you can do so much with it and it feels so good to navigate the deck. Lab is just spamming floodgates and virus cards which is why everyone hates it

I would argue traptrix is better to play against than Lab

The key is to identify your own recursion and disrupt the opponent's. If your recursion is worse, then you have to end the game ASAP. This is where people fall apart because they don't include ways to do this in the ED. Accesscode is one way but there are a lot of others that have OTK potential. Borrelsword Dragon, Double or Nothing engine (off of rank 4s), Dugares, etc.

It does, and also the people who get into other simulators to playtest cards before hopping into MD get a huge advantage ahead of time. Unlucky for people who cannot do that I guess.

The initial timer is ok. We just need more time for follow up plays.

Labrynth-Branded sounds like a bad deck, like there's not actual synergy, i'd even say it's anti synergy... Labrynth is stronger on it's own, just like Branded, idk why people make these abominations...

@@theboss8880 is it really bad though? Labrynth doesn't need that many cards and they can actually search some of the brand traps. It isn't like labrynth requires the extra deck to win and that is all Branded does is abuse their fusion gimmick. It just gives branded a deck tech that outs certain matchups hence the DPE also being included because people really and I mean REALLY HATE anti meta bs

@@The-Host i fully agree if u dont know the common cards that been played by meta plus if u need thinking forever what u add to hand/gy or summon from deck you should be punished, even in tears days where u got 10+ chains on reacting to ur opponent effects where it matters on what chain u did what i never timed out every1 thats timeout is bad and its their own fault. know ur lines, know your extention line ect if u need to watch yt guides how 2 play the deck just dont playit in a comp setting like ranked

Master duel uses algorithms to plan your hands. I won't be convinced they don't.

true, just play the deck until you know your plays quickly, its part of the game, i like the timer as is.

@@dotreant5264 I play the new infernoble deck which is arguably one of the most complex decks to pilot. I played hand after hand against the CPU for hours til I had my lines down. Have yet to time out with the deck. Investment.

The problem is not even building a board memorizing your lines. It's when you are trying to BREAK boards THEN build your own, You know ? when you actually need to use brain to break boards.

no way dude they give you enough time to figure it out. yeah its hard but how much time is enough? if you cant figure it out in the 5 minutes then tough, its ok to take the L. its hard yeah but cmon youre asking for way to much time on a game that already gives you a lot of time

I don’t even know any deck atm besides Mannadium and Rikka that even get close to hitting time unless they are just such slow decision makers

The turn 0 Rainbow Magician that stops you from monsters effects and atacks is beyond disgusting.

It was 10 minutes turns at one point. The timer at 5 now is way better than it was before.

Maybe you haven't claimed the rewards. Go to the duel pass (bottom left part of the screen) then claim all the rewards.

You already got it, the 700 gems are the sum of every reward on the premium pass, same with the UR points

Trap heavy lab usually relies on floodgates so they can actually draw their engine or traps. Most likely would be straight up a coin flip if they drew floodgates or not.

@@SenHnkthats cuz most of the floodgates got limited, during full power floodgate era i had a massive win rate even without the big welcome at the time, if gozen and rivary came back to three trap labrynth would be the better one

@@SenHnkgozen and rivary is good with solemn strike which is a staple for those decks you can shut down any board with that especially going second

I would honestly say no because despite the ability to full board easily. Branded’s whole thing is banishment which snake eyes pure can’t really counter too much against. Plus with the amount of support that branded has and a good branded player will still get a lot of negates out on the field.

Debatable but branded still stronger imo. With R-ace snake eyes, its who get the 1st turn gets the advantage.

​@@virgilhoffman9144 The fact that Branded is continuously beaten by Snake-Eyes in Dkayed's tournament as well as in most other community tournaments speaks against that. Branded is certainly still great, but considering the crazy amount of handtraps that Snake-Eyes can run, I'd say the matchup is pretty bad. Branded needs to get its fusions going if it wants to grind - if you negate their fusions turn 1, snake-eyes usually has a strong enough board with apollo etc that Branded is out of options.

Lmao that’s how Master Duel goes bro. Learn to maneuver around the meta decks, and understand it’s constantly changing. I play swordsoul still to this day and still get to plat 1 every season, I don’t care too much to push for master and face meta all day

Expect to duel against meta deck when you use meta yourself. Use the deck you like and people will use the deck they like. I mean if you hate em meta so much, the red button is always available.
