i remember that game on the c64 PD stuff. we would bet who could do it in less moves and make money 1 penny per move from the the least to the most moves. few betted lol!!
Surprisingly good graphics, considering. I had a Vic20, which came out about three years after this. This Labyrinth experience would be measured in seconds-per-frame, then. Fine, but does it run Crysis?
It was slow because it was written in BASIC and was running on a Commodore PET 2001 series, which had a processor that operated at 1 MHz. Later PET models were faster. There were assembly versions of this game that were faster as well.
Really? For some reason I thought all PETs were 1mhz??? If not? Very cool. I learned something today. :) My first C= was a vic-20. I loved it... better then an Atari VCS, but man... a couple of those vcs games??? Star Raiders? Yars Revenge? Wait, sorry... I was a Commodore guy :) I have wanted a PET for years!
