Another game with Chessbazaar's Reproduction of the 1990s French Chavet Championship V2. Enjoy! There is an illegal move on white side towards the end game but since Black didn't see it, can't really say anything about it.
-Ebonized version:

-We paired the pieces with the Mahogany and Sycamore (square size: 2.25) Wood Board for the recording.
-Outside the recording, we use a walnut board which we always recommend.
Next episode will be "The Fischer Spassky 1972 Series Commemorative Chess Pieces" (clearance sale) by House of Staunton.
We will have two people sit down and do a closeup.

When I played this game I was coming from a bar were I took my girlfriend at the time to get a few drinks. I was dizzy because of the alcohol so I wasn't able to noticed the illegal move until 3 moves after it happened.

Which board are you using? Where can we find It?

HI! I got the board from YMImports. However, I just checked their website and they don't have offer the board anymore. The closest Board I can find is House of Staunton's Folding Mahogany and Sycamore Board. Best of wishes

I believe it’s the 58mm sycamore board from Poland. Used extensively in Bundesliga 🇩🇪 Cheers

@@losangeleschessfortress6753 Yeah, he's a good player. I enjoyed these games, and in fact this video made me buy the Fischer/Spassky Commemorative Chess pieces. Now you're making me seriously consider this set as well...

D Uni he is our best player aha I’m happy you’re liking the video and CB’s Chavets is a fun set to play with. It’s a great set but I wouldn’t buy them at full price. It’s best to wait for a huge sale.

@@losangeleschessfortress6753 Yeah, for these pieces, I'd wait. I couldn't wait for the Fischer/Spassky. I was able to get a similar, but not as good deal on it. Definitely need to keep posting more videos! You guys may have something going, I don't really see too many channels actually playing through the pieces. One of the reasons why I bought a DGT chessboard + timeless set is because I knew exactly how the chess pieces/board looked like in action. Definitely a fan, and plus Joseph and I are very similar in strength and I enjoy his intuitive play with these blitz/rapid games.

@@duni7374 You made a great choice! How are you liking the Fischer/Spassky? Thank you for the kind comment but sadly we are taking a break from recording games. I stopped collecting chess sets since it got too expensive. Plus, Rutilio (Our second best) has moved on to other hobbies and Aj and I are not strong enough to take on Joseph in front of the camera lol But recently I became friends with a few 1800-2000 players so hopefully things work out for the best :)
