This is an unboxing and review of the Laco TG 950. This video is not sponsored, and is my personal experience. Let me know if you have any comments or feedback.
If I'd seen this video before thinking of buying the sprayer I definitely would NOT of bought it....but luckily I purchased it before and really don't know the issue you had because when you first pumped it it looked too thin and then it looked too thick and barely any texture was coming out! First of all if you get the right consistency it should actually look really good and super easy to pump, you did look like u were pumping the hell out of it and barely any came out! And also for those that due alot of knockdown matching buy the tip exclusively for it! Overall this pump works great but obviously because of the price it's only worth it if drywall repairs is what you do for work.
Thank you!! I have been thinking about buying one of these for a while but you brought up some very good points that I didn't think of. Thank you again!
Try Leaving the texture in the container & just put some orange tape over the end hole instead of washing out. This way it’s ready to go at the next job.
They should just make a tip to put on an undercoating gun you use with a compressor. It's the same design other than that hand pump part. An undercoating gun is $20-30. Then you have a tool for multiple uses. Textured wall undercoat your vehicle. Water proof your deck etc... Seems to me that would be a far better investment overall.
I got mine for $200. If you want an ok Orange peel use a broom. If you want an okay knockdown use a glove and flick it with your fingers. I have not used mine yet I hope that it can do not gone better than you got it to do. Because those blobs were too small.
You just needed to give yourself a chance to get used to it. You don't have any experience using this tool and based your result on a first time use. It's an excellent tool is you know how to use it and will save you tons of time on small to medium repairs. I think you are missing out. There's plenty of vids out there of people using it with out all the hard pumping and getting exhausted using the same tool. Here's two you can check out of people who have experience using this tool. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-of9xXY6c8Xk.htmlsi=TZiIb-aRB0ohKISI ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k3b8H09j5Ns.htmlsi=nt84AuGB4GHKD_LD
