L.A. County Fire is becoming one of the largest fire departments in the U.S. It continues to pick up contracts with smaller cities that contract with L.A. County for fire protection while disbanding their small departments. The department has a lot of resources and some excellent people. I live north in the Sierra Nevada and am retired from the U.S. Forest Service. I've worked with LAC on a few large fires in southern California.
Back in the 80s, dad was a mechanic with VCoFD... Saw the "Fire Cats" up close and personal. Awesome! And those operators: God bless them all! Incredible personnel!
Thank you for showing Those CAT special purpose Dozers. The blade width really overhang the side's of Lowboys. Love how they have a service truck with Dozers.
what I want to know is Why and How in the hell do fires get started Every Single Year in California something has to start them it seems like they are started on purpose bc I think it's just weird that a fire gets started every year in the same area
Fires are actually completely natural. The problem is, when you prevent natural wildfires from being ignited, the dry brush keeps building up over the years. So when a fire does eventually start, it spreads much faster and stronger as it burns the extra fuel that has built up.
First Responders few people remember them but most don't even think of them yet if it was not for the First Responders thousands would more than likely die so BIG UP TO ALL THE MEN AND LADYS WHO PUT THE OWN LIFES ON THE LINE EVERYDAY TO SAVE OTHERS.
Personally I would fucking kick your ass. You don’t fuck with people who are responding to save people’s lives. Cops or not when there’s lights and sirens you move the fuck over. You inconsiderate piece of shit.
