We have that wildfire smoke all the way down here in Delaware. We've been in the very unhealthy category for several days and even dropped to the hazardous category a couple of times. At times, it's so bad that it blocks out the sun. Some outdoor events have been cancelled because of it. I hope you guys don't encounter the same problems in Laconia. Having driven that area to many time to count, (Springfield, MA to Carlisle, PA - Parents were in Carlisle until they passed) You are doing the best route. Far less traffic and quite frankly it not a bad drive. We always did 91, 84, 81. The haze you are seeing is smoke from the Wildfires in Canada. Safe travels!

I'm currently in Laconia, weather is nice, calling for rain. The Wiers are all ready for the 100th.

I always had great success with a Wilson Trucker 2000 & 18' of coax. Whatever you do, don't just coil up the coax. It'll make a resistor. Long, wide, open loops are best if you need to stash extra coax length.

Man, White's sure has changed since Petro took over. Gone is that thick layer of cigarette smoke gunk on everything in the building. And "Good choice" about stopping for lunch at the Sheetz in Mt Jackson. I always looked forward to what they had compared to regular truckstop choices. Good luck with business at Laconia.

Any route that avoids I-95 until north of Boston is the best route. Even if it means Richmond to Laconia via Victoria B.C.

Good luck with the poor air quality. Most of the northeast will be shrouded in haze from the Canadian wildfires for a few more days. BTW, next trip you may want to check out I-81 to Binghamton, then I-88 to Albany, and then I-90 east.

I like the 81 to 84 coming from central NC. It's a much nicer ride on the bike and kept us away from most of the major cities. We did that route last year. Hope you have a good turn out for the 100th.

On that 95-N corridor at the 81 split, stay north. Dropping down to 78 gets into some nasty from Allentown through Newark, NJ. 95 is horrible dense traffic unfortunately no easy way to get Northeast.

Man, I started to watch your video and I noticed the steel hook over your left shoulder. I don't know what you use it for, but I'd take it off in a hurry. If anything happened you could end up with that in your head! A number of years ago I worked at the race track. It was very interesting watching the bikers.

81 to 84 is the way to go. Much nicer ride and less traffic. I95 from Richmond VA north is horrible.

It was not bikes practicing at the speedway, it was Nascar cup cars tire testing. We tested for 3 days now I'm back home wish i could have stayed for bike week.

Some of those places you were at looked a lot like I-89 & I-93 in NH at the smaller rest stops. I'm hoping to make it up there from SE NH, but I only really have 1 day w/o using vacation time. Like I said earlier, my job's screwing w/people lately. Hope you do well though, you strike me as a decent guy, unlike most I've dealt with. Honestly, last time I was there, was for the Christmas Lights w/my niece.

I`m north of Phila. and we have had smokey haze for 3 days now. It will probably be worse where you going, too.

FYI Adam I put in a few CB ‘s in my lifetime and I used to work for my dad who repaired radios where do you put dual antennas or a single antenna? You need 18 foot of coax on each side or one antenna too and when you stole the cable over your headliner loop into a figure 8 don’t roll it
