This solemn masterpiece makes me feel far away from the suffocating hubbub and hustle and bustle of Tokyo in the dizzying megalopolis ablaze with countless neons and illuminations and immeasurable population
You haven't sung it though have you? The bass part range is a nightmare. Sussmayr didn't have the choral composition skills that Mozart did, still one of my favorite pieces to listen to.
INSUPERABLE.
Nuestro gran orgullo venezolano!
Yes. My wife of 62 years just died. This is the most powerful statement. I will never overcome it. The opening crescendo is superhuman. To be frank I don't think we are intended to survive a spouse in advanced age. A famous Chinese poem ends ' but if you must shoot a goose, shoot both that they may not be put asunder'
Many have told me be ' be stong' but for me that didn't work. My best session was at the local Buddhist retreat. They are Italian. They wepy inconsolably and I felt free to do the same. I had some relief.
This is the most powerful rendition of this piece I have heard, especially from minute 2:45 until the end. The choir and the orchestra allow the music to touch you in the deepest portion of your heart. The conductor reflects the passion he has for this performance. Simply amazing.
This performance is completely connected to the source. The trembling of my soul doesn't stop. Thank you Simon Bolivar, Venezuela. This proves that the human soul is a child of God. From Japan
Maestro Carreño, orchestra and singers, your intense pathos, drama and understanding of this Lacrimosa, conquered my soul. I was breathless all through. Did Mozart know how well you'd do? You are all marvellous. Thank You
Best version of Lacrimosa I have found on RU-vid. Majestic, powerful vocals are perfectly blended throughout the performance and expertly supported by the accompanying music. The strength of the ending verse (especially from 2:50 -3:20) is unmatched anywhere else.
Unbelievably exquisite and subtle yet the crescendo's and decrescendo's were so appropriate and tender. This has to be the best rendition I have ever heard, even from the German and Austrian folks and this sung by native Venezuelans to boot, oh how beautiful. Goes to show MUSIC transcends even God, all races and creeds and reaches the stars in our galaxy. I actually kept playing this over and over again, FIVE times and will probably listen to it more. I just got the piano version to learn. But this is superb. Thanks to these gentle souls.
Solo Von Karajan mi aveva fatto sentire Mozart così dentro l'Anima. Bravissimi.
