You're a bit rough with Andrea, he's got a voice for singing with metal music not acoustic one .. it needs to be rocky to keep tonality ... Cristina has a pure voice in any circumstance .. she makes me vibrate
Great technique by Christina here. She sounds great, just as the harmonic vocal moments. Lacuna Coil should use more harmonies in their vocal lines since they've got two vocalists.
This girl is not bad at all. She's beautiful, their songs are heavier than evanescence and they also sing in Italian, evanescence is good too, but a little more overrated IMO. This girl definitely CAN sing, and much better than most popular artists on the radio.
i don't understand why you guys are being so hard on him . this song does not display the metal and darker vocals he is very good at. but she can deliver any song into epicness with that wide range and personal touches to her delivery of a song.
stop crying guys, neither Cris nor Andy sang it the way they could have, so what? everyone has bad days. Why are you looking for perfection, are YOU perfect??? And I think this song isn't for acoustic version.
I don't understand people when they say that only Cristina sings great....Andrea also sings great.The thing is that every man who sings metal can't sing so great when he sings quiet and slow.They both sound realy great... :)
It’s always the people that don’t know anything about singing. They act like he’s the only metal vocalist that messes up clean vocals. PLEASE. I’ve heard Corey Taylor butcher clean and distorted lines hard. And he’s one of the most respected vocalists around rightfully so.
I am not into gothic music at all and very little metal but Lacuna has been one of my fav bands for years and years because of Cristina. She strikes me as another Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin or Linda Ronstadt. Just a pure and true diva. She captures the stage and emotion every time.
Andrea ruins it. Also this is kind of a lazy acoustic cover. The song doesn't directly translate to acoustic very well so some liberties should be taken. Since there are clearly some talented musicians in this band who would probably know this, I'm left to assume that this wasn't something they really wanted to do.
To all of those who say Andrea needs to be dropped, you need to understand that, although not all people like his singing ( I actually do ), he does a ton behind the scenes creatively, just as all band members do. I think it's actually the same concept as Slipknot and Mushroomhead. They have so many people in those bands, each member seems depreciated, but the creative genius that each person brings to the table really creates the sound people love, regardless what happens on stage.
@@teddysurf bruh they can’t fire him, he created the band. Also even though he may not be the best live, so are many other amazing singers. Some people just struggle live. Coming from a vocalist myself, Andrea is actually very skilled and has a fairly wide vocal range. He just struggles with keeping his voice clean and hearing tone, but nonetheless has a very unique and cool sounding voice
@bman546 You know who really blows? You! Without him the band would be just like every other band out there. and on top of that I would stop listening to the new albums. There are hundreds of metal bands out there with a good female singer. Lacuna coil is a band, take it or leave it, youtube wankers :)
@code933k well, his job in the band is not to sing, he is just doing the darker voice so that it's easier for metalheads to listen to Christinas light voice :)
they are rushing the acoustic version. it's a little too fast for them to get a clear translation. I love Lacuna Coil, and they aren't doing bad, but they are Fantastic!
in some small concert i had pleasure to hear live acoustic performance up close and She is Goddess.. her voice and singing skills are on another level.
Why he's still on the band? I tell you: he's the one who founded Lacuna Coil. Without Andrea no Lacuna Coil. Lacuna Coil isn't just a band, they are a family and they rock your ass of live! Can't believe why everyone is complaining on Andrea -.-''
He's emotionless because of the absence of caos that covers his voice on live events and he simply must be very careful to the notes that he sings, because he goes out of tune too much easily. Anyway he's a real part of the band, Lacuna Coil won't be the same without him.
Not sure why I'm going to even post as it will be removed within minutes; honesty is not typically welcome on gushing fan uploads, but here goes... Andrea Ferro adds nothing to the band. He looks strung out, he sounds absolutely awful live (it is truly indefensible), his voice is buried in effects on their recordings, he doesn't play an instrument, he doesn't write music or lyrics. I could get my dog to growl in a mic if thats what he's used for and I would charge a hell of a lot less coin!
@code933k Sorry, but i find the contrast between the 2 voices perfect, especially on studio tracks. You don't need to have super skills to make good songs. You can judge the technique or you can simply judge the song. Trip the darkness studio version is one of the best songs of 2012 so far and IMO. Even if Andrea live does not sound perfect, he's very important, without him LC will never be the same.
great song i see it as the world should talk to another.(come to me come to me.but the world is fading ).Sad an i know im american my government is mostly about war depends on the party.But i like peace we should all share the world instead of trying to controll it.Thats my take on this song.An what a great voice
Being a singer myself all i can say is your wrong, singing is much harder when you have to sing quietly because you can't hit certain notes without drowning out your accompanying instruments. Also it's much harder to sing without going flat, thats why when he sings the songs normally he's very good, christina is also very good.
Andy founded LC... true He is the main song writer for the band... true So, he should stick to the job that he can do best like song writing and composition or may be guitars. But he should realize that he is perhaps not as good at singing. IMHO LC is better off with Christina alone on vocals or may be they can recruit some better male vocalist if they must.

I really don't see the need for Andreas :/ He really can't do it live, he adds nothing to the band... Now if they got a guttural vocalist and changed their style slightly, they could become a brilliant Melodeath 'beauty and the beast' type affair :D
