@@stantheman9976 he was putting refunds through the till where he worked (at a holiday camp) and was keeping the money, it was thousands! He went on the run, but got caught in Blackpool and was sentenced to two years for fraud! Personally, I think he was robbing Mark blind too, and that’s why he went bust. Horrible man

Most events charge one price for pre-bookings and a higher price "at the door". At the very least they should have charged 10 - 12 pounds for people buying tickets on the night at the door.

It’s the same story every time - there’s some semblance of a plan in place but Mark catastrophizes at the 11th hour, changing everything and leaving confusion in his wake.

In 2012 it was bought by a hotel group.fir under £1M who spent another £1M on a major refurbishment and efforts to undo the terrible reputation earned while Mark was running the show. In fact 2018 The Grosvenor Hotel went into bankruptcy protection so the new owners could restructure. TripAdvisor reviews continue to be mediocre

Mark wasn't really ready to own a hotel lol he's been brought up to be an entertainer and seems to really enjoy it. But unfortunately the hotel flopped years ago. But at least now mark is going back to his true calling and he went back to the entertainment industry

The level of service and cleanliness in the UK compared to the rest of the western world is shocking. Everything besides the very high-end hotels is awful. Ik the show promotes the worst, but I’ve spent a lot of time in the UK over the last 30 years and it’s getting better, but still awful.
