I have it installing right now. I use blue stacks and it does alright but I will randomly get disconnected to login portal/game will freeze when a character attacks oddly it seems to happen mainly with Drake which must just be a coincidence.

Can LD emulator still do auto farming in FGO?

You could honestly just get Ibuki and summon for Castoria. That way, you'd have the best arts looper and the best arts support in the game

Would you say she is a must pull if I dont have Merlin? I have all the other main meta supports (minus Oberon). I really want all 3 Summer servants, but Arcueid really set me back. Any advice would be helpful.

@@Chapterhouse86 Yes, Lady avalon is still great for CQs. You don't need merlin to make her good, since she fulfills the same role. I find her healing to be invaluable for CQs if you do not have someone on the level of Merlin for survivability

In JP she’s key to a faster invincible comp. S.Ibuki, Proto Merlin and castoria is the CQ team to beat if you want far more speed than normal invincible comp morgan/Himiko, Castoria and Merlin.

@@individualywrappedcheeseslices I hear you. It's certainly nice to have a form of healing (or hp gain) for these challenges. It's perhaps the only thing missing from my dear Reines, who I feel is generally underappreciated in the role. But as I was originally going to prioritize Lady Avalon over Summer Skadi, you can imagine why I've come to my senses after gathering more info. Merlin no.2 would still be highly useful to have, but definitely more of a luxury item rather than an absolute must I'd initially thought she might be.

@@Aesanthir she not a must for sure. Focus on S. Skadi. Looping support > CQ support any day bro. Definetly a luxury item. Especially if u have invincible comp already w morgan or himiko.

Man i have morgan at np 1 and shes amazing. She fits with all type of team, stall, crit team, aoe clearing np. Really loving her rn

This is how I feel

She got two batteries outside of NP

They both fill the same role as the on field support alongside Castoria in bossfights but in different ways. Tamo is if you're relying more on np rather than face card and skill cooldown. Proto merlin is better at longer sustained fights and team survivability,np generation tied to skill,and star gen. Tamo does have a heal and np gen but its tied to her 3rd skill and np so it can be somewhat unreliable.

I just need her cause I don't have Castoria yet and I really wanna beat Cernunnos 😭 so I'mma have to do a Solemn Unit with Proto instead of OG Merlin

@@resurrectedpa That's a valid reason to get her so go for it. Although we do periodically get leyline stones that works like 3 command seals and that helps a lot for tough story chapters like that.

I mean i dont belive that is a good statement. Farming is a top priority but i struggle more in CQ and SQ than farming set-ups. 3 turn and even 4 turn farming (5 turn with bad card luck) 90+ nodes is not THAT difficult this days. People will struggle more with the actually hard quest even when they spend 80% of their game time farming. There are soo many units to fix Farming nodes. Arash for example. I have the tools to make 3turn Buster farming without Arash. Just need to 10/10/10 my oberon and Morgan (or my NP3 Arcueid) but i have not rush in that because Grial Arash NP5 can clear with attack from the plug suit buff mooost 3 enemy nodes so 2 turn loop is all i need. I feel like you will pull for farming units without even trying (just because most popular units are almost every time Farming units) so i honestly belive that pull for hard quest supports is more a Must in general.

@@KaiserTheDarkWolf There are only a handful of CQs (usually 1 per event, sometimes 2) each year with fairly minimal rewards (we got so much lores this anniversary in master missions) that it's not even a big deal if you skip a couple if they are too hard. That said there are a lot of ways to tackle CQs and proto merlin arts team is just one of them. Some of them can be solo'ed, some can be done with quick teams, some can be done with buster teams, some can be done with arts teams that don't use Lady Avalon (Reines, Tamamo, Pope Jo next year, etc), you also have command seals for them as well. So I really don't feel like any particular CQ oriented servant is ever a must have. Your mileage might vary of course. If they ever change CQ reward to be 1 ticket instead of 1 lore, I would definitely reconsider my stance.

I don’t think every support needs to enable farming though. So I take a bit issue with your statement. Because I don’t think units should be automatically skipped just because a guy on the internet told you so and so. You should weigh your options based on what you need and want. Are there valid reasons for skipping Lady Avalon? Sure. If you still need a universal farmer like Ibuki, or you’re confident enough in your roster that you think you’ll be fine without her in CQs, etc. Just something rubs me the wrong way about going “oh this servant doesn’t factor into 3 turn brainrot? SKIP.”

You could sink some effort on Hundred Face Hassan. She basically is Ushiwakamaru of Assassins and she can generate a lot of stars with NPAAE chain with her star drop skill.

I have muramasa too but np1 just recently got Morgan. Those 2 are my main. Who should i go for?

For muramasa you should wait for castoria banner or go for proto Merlin, for Morgan you need koyan and Oberon ​and if You get proto Merlin might as well go for ibuki to straightup replace muramasa 💀@@ZakuZuko

@@ZakuZuko for farming i recommend lady avalon, summon a Xu Fu on the friend gacha and you are set on the arts team until a castoria banner. for morgan like he said you need mostly koyan so you can use one from a friend and focus on having a consistent farming team first.....FGO is 90% farming

It sounds crazy, but Xu Fu is better arts looper buffer than Proto Merlin.

Double castria isn’t better for stall in CQs. Double castria has no sustain. Solemn defense is pretty good but only gets super OP after overcharge bonuses.

@@zeroone2731 There are two extremely difficult Quests that will happen in the future that will push you to the limit, even more so than what came before them. They are a gauntlet of 10 waves that will NOT allow you to use any Support Servant, so it's limited to your own roster. They also only allow you to use the front line of 3 Servants per wave, for a total of 30 Servants participating. Each wave will have its own gimmick, like forcing you to beat both enemies on the field at the same time, or the one left revives the other. They further restrict what you can do by disallowing the use of duplicate Servants or CEs across all of the parties, so no using multiple Gongs with multiple KScopes to cheese waves. To top it off, you also won't be allowed revives with Command Seals, SQ, or the Blue Revive Cubes, though you can still use Seals to charge NPs/heal. They made changes to the second Quest to better help players clear it. The first one is going to stop a bunch of players in their tracks. On top of this, advanced quests do not allow you to borrow from friends

She's just too good overall (her mor weak part Maybe Cq if the CQ kills her easily but only that, just because there are only just better unit created for CQ) but if You have another Universal Farmer, she can be skiped, not because She's Bad... But because You don't really need her

Deppends, Proto Merlin it's good if You don't hace Merlin or good arts teams S.Ibuki it's better than others universal arts farmers, but if You have the others, Well, no. S.Skadi i'll Say yes because she enable the use of Black Grail on Quick servants and can be usted outside of quick teams, but if You dont need her, skip

Well mostly depends on what uou have. If you have Castoria and Tammy Caster then I recommend goinfor Skadi but if you lack a good arts team the Proto Merlin is a good idea too. Go for what you lack or go for what you feel would be more valuable. If you have a bunch of Quick units but no Quick support then definitely pick Skadi

Depends on your box, if you have Castoria then you don’t NEED to go for proto Merlin. If you have Skadi, you don’t NEED to go for Summer Skadi. If you have both, depending on if you main arts or quick, but I’d say Summer Skadi since she offers more viability for quick if you want to use quick. Proto Merlin is good, but we have Castoria who’s already an insane arts support ontop of being great defensively. Summer Skadi just amps up quick even better than regular Skadi, so she’s a direct upgrade.

Lady Avalon is nice to have in my opinion. It is like this Castoria > oberon > koyan light > S.Skadi > Skadi = Lady Avalon = Merlin. You'll want someone to help to farm everyday first, then aim for harder content (those 3 after S.Skadi)

i mean yes. Reines is in my opinion as good as her (and more generic) because of her broken NP which is both offensive and defensive. But What really makes Merlin interesting is her Class Type. I really hope i get because i want both merlins in my account. My long time lost first account have main Merlin as the first 5* from limited banner (i lost that account sadly) i want to recover him so bad.

@@AmandaFessler Kuku not that good at NP1 from what ive seen though... but thats true for literally 99% of farmers in the game so not a Kuku exclusive issue though. Still a cracked unit nonetheless and i love her personality.

She’s great, but nowhere close to a “must have.” Most accounts would benefit more from a long list of other servants.

This honestly there a very few MUST summons like I’d say get your main supports then whoever you actually like is a must summon

I agree with the advice above by @comicsans8994. I've played for many years without having Merlin and haven't had any major problems clearing content. Lady Avalon is Merlin for arts teams. She's certainly a great unit that you can try to get eventually, but you will end up using Ruler Skadi and Ibuki more.

skadi and ibuki better, but if youre not quick or arts looping even those 2 are not must summon. buster is meta.

If you don't have any unit that can hand off 50% charge to another unit, get summer skadi. Summer skadi allows you to farm with Aoe quick units and helps with characters that have 2buster/2quick decks to maximize crit damage. she pairs pretty well with a upcoming berserker (Sen-no-rikyu) for farming. Lady avalon makes for an amazing unit for arts teams in challenge quests to allow them to sustain and fire off their noble phantasms constantly. Outside of that, she along with her counterpart (merlin) suck for farming, which is 90% of the game. SSkadi meanwhile can be both used in farming and as a challenge quests support.

I agree with the above. Ruler Skadi is the BEST unit this summer IF you use quick teams or plan to use them. Lady Avalon is a "nice to have" unit particularly if you don't have Merlin and use arts teams frequently. I'm going for both, but that's because I don't have Merlin and I do play Arts teams a lot.
