A little out of focus for the first 15 seconds or so... then the video comes back into focus :) Gaga is really changing the world, one sequin at a time... The other song performed that night: • Lady Gaga and Yoko Ono...
I wish John was alive to meet GaGa. That would be a mighty meetings of mystics. Like Yoko, I think he'd adore her and understand the strange power she has. Better than most. Given that he, too, was more popular than Christ.
If gaga did experimental she would rule the genre but no one is ready for that considering how artpop her edm album didn’t do well bc no one understood the concept
Well it certainly is unlike anything I've ever heard before. A psychedelic sensory stimulant not meant for the contemporary public. Plastic Ono is a club. The agenda is for the members. Yoko has always been different. Though she'll never come close to the aura of John Lennon or his talent, it's nice to see she remains musically indulged in her old age. And as for Lady Gaga, She will surpass everything John Lennon ever did. And that says it all.
Gaga looks and sounds like she's channeling the pure energy of Yoko's spirit and her generation and turning it into postmodern GOLD. I've seen so many Gaga videos and performances, this is #1, by a landslide.
Absurd, yes, but utterly wonderful. Two strong, brilliant women from very different backgrounds making the world a better place through laughter and music.
how have i not seen this yet??? ngl THIS is more ARTPOP than the whole actual album :D still an ARTPOP stan, but this level of experimental is nowhere to be found... and maybe that's a good thing lol
When they're both screaming/singing it reminds me of that episode of family guy where Pete and Louis smoke weed, perform and they think they're really good but they're just shouting the whole time 😅😂
Awesome! Gaga really adapts to so many different styles of music. This sounds like alternative/experimental rock, and you can tell she's so into it! ;)) Nice to see how she gets to perform with artists who have inspired her. She seems so happy and honored!
It's true, Frederik Glerup. You said it right. This performance may not be to your taste or liking, but to say these women have no talent, or that their talents are wasted on music like this, is a complete misunderstanding. There was a time in my life when I would hear music like this and I just didn't get it. I didn't understand it. So I thought I didn't like it. But after I've lived more years on this planet and experienced more things, I've come to appreciate this type of art.
Gagas vocals are soooooooo incredible, like shes untouchable. No joke, there cant be anyone as talented as her who is a modern artist. Sooooo fuckin fierce! I cant handle it
Hate to say it but you have horrible taste because that woman sucks horribly worst female vocalist ever to try and sing in her life absolutely zero talent in any shape form or fashion
lady gaga deberia salirse de ese mundo toxico del pop actual y hacer lo que mas le gusta como este tipo de música o como lo que ha hecho con tonny bennet
Sun Is Down is incredibly symbolic of change in culture. Patriarchial systems are shutting down, and in other parts of the world it's incredibly strong. When they say they can't see the moon, the moon has been a symbol of the Feminine for thousands of years, in many different cultures. The sun represents the masculine gods we have worshipped over the years. When they ask, "can you see the moon?" They are asking, "where are the women? Where are the strong women?"
While watching this video I heard a gunshot in the other room and when I went to go see what it was I found my dog had committed suicide. Thanks Oh No Yoko
Love you GAGA i love how u can make us understand not only are you a talented performer, artist, innovator, barrier breaking, trend making diva but a talented teacher while you have never once said you are perfect and we all know no one is (we know this already trolls) but we love her for who she is and to everyone who hates on her and us your not perfect either and a nobody to judge and if you cant see what we see then i feel sorry for you and ur hate filled heart.
Found myself coming back round to this and listening to it again n again. Definitely different. Catchy spoken word/music art/poetry/glitter/slam/glam type thing. Cool collaboration.
Wow! I love this! Ive been a fan for precisely 2 years and its amazing how, since then, shes been constantly surprising me like she just did here. ... and its great to see that other artists recognize her talent as well, even legends like Yoko (who is very cute in the vid btw *-* lol)
