After 7 years of waiting for her to go back to her POP roots, she delivered us an album that is truly phenomenal. i cant believe there are people who cannot get into it. COME ON. “Sine From Above” is THE song of the album.

This is the only Album I like fully each and every song immensely. When I first saw the track list, I thought omg it's a long one 16 songs!! After I've finished it however I felt it wasn't enough haha 🤣 It's been on repeat since it's release I can't enough of it.

The reason I'm so late in getting to your solo reaction is because I savour her albums. I am still on "Chromatica" as if it just came out. I indulge in everything online, while playing all the 4 different vinyls of (I have many of all four types: silver, milky, transparent, and pic disc). And in my indulging I am here at your reaction. Ok...here is my faves list. Realize that this list is in constant flux. Everything makes number one at least once. Here is one version that is sort of an often construct (note: this list, as I said, isn't concrete and etched in stone. When I listen to each song it's like my favorite. But this list is a common-ish order: 1) Replay 2) Enigma 3) Free Woman 4) Babylon 5) Alice 6) Stupid Love 7) 1000 Doves 8) Plastic Doll 9) Sour Candy 10) And all the rest

It is no surprise to us oldsters who remember the early 60s that you felt 'aviation' during 1000 Doves, because that style of the song was a jet setter style...those playboys-wishing-they-were-sean-connery-james-bond and their flying around the world pinching the butts of "stewardesses" while having martinis to the backdrop of music sounding like 1000 Doves. The song could've been an instrumental playing during a United Airlines t.v. ad of the times.

I always keep adding to reaction videos and chromatica videos in general, because I am a permanent resident of chromatica...beyond hope of leaving. Even these many months later it is the only vinyl that sits on my turntable (I have several copies of each of the four vinyls: silver, milky, clear, and picture. All get played. Nothing else gets played. So to answer another of your wishes, this is my favorite album of all time. I never get bored with a single song on it. I never want to skip over any one song. Every song swings around to become my favorite again and again...they all do (right now I am really on 'replay' and '1000 doves' and 'babylon').

The transition from Chromatica I to Alice was incredible! Like “Oh, she’s here!” Then the transition from Chromatica II - 911 definitely my favourite part of the album. Amazing album, probably on par with Artpop for me! 👌🏻

I agree...'Enigma' is definitely a song that made me go "now THIS is the best song on the album", which of course in the end of things I couldn't figure out which song actually IS the best. To this very minute I can't determine it. I had gone full circle to saying to myself "Stupid Love" (yes i did), after my mad affair with all the songs that song took me back to the initial exposure. Then...I went and heard "Enigma" again. Confused again.

911 and others sort of borrow sounds from all albums. In 911 I hear the fame, born this way, artpop...all three albums....bits and sounds and moods. Sort of a homogenization in sound. Like you take the different familiar sounds and stir them up like a liquid, rather than piece them together like a solid.

I like how some songs sound absolutely from The Fame era, while others are like a combo of Born This Way and Artpop. There will be sounds from one album fused with sounds from another, yet there is something new about them, too. It isn't like she just stuck familiar sounds together and stitched them like Frankenstein. She homogenized extremely familiar with new. (I mean...Alice is Electric Chapel, only it isn't)

gaga reaction videos are a habit and pastime of mine. So here I am commenting again. Umm...9.5 is an incredible rating, and certainly this album deserves that. But, I have to ask myself, you have to set a standard somewhere, and I just can't recall, if this is a 9.5, what does a perfect 10 sound like? I don't think, per this standard, a 10 exists. So we rate starting somewhere at a top. Chromatica is one of those.
