Angela Mao apparently settled in New York City in the early 1990s and owned three Chinese restaurants there. Wonder if these restaurants are still operating. What a cutie she was in her youth!!❤❤
She is not just the actress, Angela Mao, she is Master Angela Mao, despite having abandoned fighting and her acting career. She was trained in Kung Fu since she was a child. In addition to perfectly mastering the classic style of Kung Fu (Sammo Hung was a great trainer for her after she was an adult), she was a student of great masters such as Jhoon Rhee, with whom she became a 1st Dan black belt in the Taekwondo style and Ji Hanjae, with which he became a 3rd Dan black belt in the Hapkido style. That's why, in the films, she masters the fight choreography so well. There are very few cuts in her fight scenes, unlike other martial actresses.
I had the honor of meeting this beautiful person along with her two sons George and Tom at their restaurants in Queens. Really had a moment, so impressed, so nervous to actually be in her presence. Have yet to make to to return to eat. On my bucket list.
If you live in new york guys dont forget to visit her restaraunt in Queens, NY. I think you also can see there a silicon made bruce lee's figure from Game of Death. Ms. Mao was blessed to make kung fu movies in such early stage.

Of course, she's a cat. My wife who is Asian and her name happens to be Angela too have a particular talent of beauty retention. Which means Asian women have that believable illusion that they're immortal through age.

I only knew her from Enter The Dragon growing up but am very grateful ive finally gotten around to her other films where she has the lead role. What a total badass!
She was one of the best , in these movies , I remember back I guess about around seeing the Movie was 1972, which i think is called Lady Whirlwind , I saw it under a different Title , it was called Deep Thrust , there was an X rated movie called Deep Throat ,that came out about the same time , that maybe one of the reasons for the name change to Lady Whirlwind , i guess that was a good move to change the Title , I guess there was some confusion with those movies having very close to the same name . Well I will come clean I have seen both , they are very different movies , and I Liked the Kung Fu movie much better by far .
