I always found the best spot is to your right when looking seawards. The first or second ledge will put you in deep water at high tide but it is a dangerous area (at low tide aswell you have to make sure of your retreat back up) . If bites are not coming just hang around for low tide and look for leaders as you can stock up on plenty of lost pennel rigs and grippers ! (Don't let this session put you off though as this area and many others like berrow beach/Brean down can be great at the right times)

I always fish too right as well mate off the ledges had some nice fish off there! I’m fishing there tomorrow just hope there’s a few fish about
