Carlos Vela and LAFC take on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and LA Galaxy in a tasty Heineken Rivalry Week El Tráfico tilt at Banc of California Stadium Sunday night in Week 25 of the 2019 MLS Regular Season televised to national audience on FS1.
@@basic1614 Yeah then he kind of disappeared in the 2nd half It's true that LAFC had them against the wall most of that half but if he had been more engaged with the game he could've easily left tonight with 4 goals or more considering how awful some of the defending was this game Also could've given Galaxy the win had he linked up with Pavon in that 85th minute run so the guy didn't have to take on everyone on his own
@@basic1614 I'm not saying he was bad this game because he definitely wasn't but we still gotta admit that if he was at his usual best, him + Pavon would've shredded that paper defense into confetti
What a great advert for US soccer. The only thing that annoys me about US soccer is the number of rainbow flags in the crowd. Can American gays stop trying to hijack soccer for some political statement? There are gay soccer fans all over the world and none of them feel the need to bring giant rainbow flags to games telling the world how super gay they are. They want to be treated the same as any other fans so don't feel the need to make a show out of their sexuality. This isn't a homophobic thing, I just don't like any group trying to hijack sport for politician purposes. So can Americans gays just leave the rainbow flags at home and just watch the game? This is not a cultural thing, because you don't see rainbow flags at NBA, NFL, MLB or NHL games.
As an la Galaxy supporter they played so bad. Lafc was easily going to win if they finished better. Zlatan and pavon had to carry the team so much throughout the game. La Galaxy played like a Sunday league team with most of the players just doing shitty passes and terrible defending where they would just watch the attacker and do nothing.
Lafc vs la galaxy it has become a great rivalry its beginning to be watch in other countrys imagine if all the matches in mls had this quality ..football in the u.s.a its beginning to gain strength
@@christophercasey8891 yea mls is were goalies and defenders don't exist lol maybe we need cholo simeone from atletico..Frank de Boer from atlanta work on his team defence as its priority
First, I want to state I am a die-hard Seattle Sounders fan (40+ years of watching them). Having said that, I was privileged to watch this match on the Armed Forces Network last night, and was totally drained of any energy by the end of the game. I consider the derby between Portland and Seattle at the top (that rivalry has been going on since 1975), but, 10 millimeters behind is LAFC - LA Galaxy. That stadium was rocking, and I could feel the seething passion emanating through my television speakers. Well played game by both teams. The fact that MLS has two built in rivalries of this magnitude will only provide greater exposure and improve the quality of the game. And as much as I have pegged on MLS referees being dolts this year, a tip of the cap to the officials this game for not screwing up such an important game.
Where can I watch the Spanish commentary version, because those guys were losing it LOL one of the commentators elbowed the other commentator during an almost goal
this is a real soccer match. pure and fair. no dumb acting bs when someone lightly touches your heel. i feel like zlatan really brought mls back some what. i enjoy watching him play and was rooting for galaxy but i wouldnt have minded too much if lafc wouldve won, they have some pretty good players as well and their captain (Vela) is a very good play maker.
donjasjit so true. And I get sometimes a lot of money rides on those matches but cmon, people are there to watch a soccer match not a fucking ballet recital
@@basic1614 Who cares those are league games. As long as you do okay you still make playoffs, this ain't Europe. Now a derby is something else. That's a must win. Even though they have more points they're still the lower team in LA. They can't beat Galaxy lol.
LA GALAXY UNDEFEATED AGAINST LAFC!!!!!!!! That is a W for the Galaxy in my book. Since 96, Let’s Go LA Galaxy!!!!!!!!!!! We run LA!!!!!!!! 💙💛💫✨⚽️⚽️🔥🔥💪👊👌👍
I'm always nervous for Galaxy when in the lead. The feel that if the opponent can't score on their own Galaxy will help them score. And the closer to full time it gets the more prone to mistakes the Galaxy team becomes. I swear to anything that Galaxy is the only team in MLS that can lose a 5-0 lead in the last 5 minutes + extra time and no one would be shocked about it.
Well I didn’t expect us to win but at least we didn’t lose. GG Galaxy this was a good ass game, is has my vote for GOTY. You’ve won this series again Galaxy. Till next time
Zlatan ,Vela, good class players,,,Rodriguez y Pavon, the sensation of the moment very soon world class players, what a game congratulations to both team,to bad is only two games
He was expecting the shot to his left, but still manage to make a huge effort to get back To the other side. So i dont blame him really. Looks easy but it's kinda hard, u aint got no time. Greetings from France :)
The coach was thinking about the playoffs over the win of the game. He knew that they need Vela in the playoffs, rather than maybe injure him more and win a useless game.
@@zafrie4363 He didn't compare himself to Zlatan, the media did; he said that his number were better this season, but that the whole career of Zlatan can only be compared with Messi and CR7.
@@erockstoenescu6171 That's because the galaxy has injured one of LAFC's players in every single meeting. The galaxy play dirty football and they can't win without trying to take out other players. shameful.
LAFC DOMINATED THE WHOLE GAME. LA GALAXY HAS NO ATTACKING STYLE, JUST KICK BALL TO ZLATAN. ONCE LAFC CAN CONTROL THAT GALAXY WONT HAVE ANY OPPORTUNITIES LIKE THE SECOND HALF OF THIS GAME. MILLER NEEDS TO SUBBED OUT FOR SISNIEGA. HE SEEMS SCARED OF ZLATAN EVERYTIME HE SHOOTS ON HIM. LETS GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE.
Number 20 from LA Fc has me hot, literally lets the player run through and doesn’t even try to tackle him. He sees him with open space and continues to lazily do nothing.
big beefin dong they would be playing away, look at all those Mexican flags in LAFC, they’re fake fans, as soon as they see a Mexican club they would ditch the team.
@@bobmuller8256 I dont think they are fake fan I just think they needed a real LA that they can relate to and are more accessible. I know I wasnt really into MLS till LAFC came in. It was mainly because they are a new team and easy to be apart of with out being called a bandwagon. I think LAFC will fair well with the crowd. Liga MX dose have more history and time to develop a major fan base especially in LA
No the best American commentators are the two guys that call the redbulls games. Knowledgeable and always make the game exciting calls. Stu Holden doesn't even understand what offside is.
@Zaki Ahmed No they have a women as insight commentator female soccer experience is not relevant to men's professional soccer so her insights are just layman analysis
I don't understand why these cb's are so afraid to challenge Ibra. Yes, he's big but no reason not to play rough with him. You think Ramos, Puyol, Cannavaro would back down from Ibra and they're half his size. Also, Tyler Miller needs to be on the bench vs Galaxy it's so obvious the El Trafico is too big of a game for him.
