Los Angeles Fire Department Engine 57 and Task Force 66 (Truck 66, Engine 66, & Engine 266) on scene of a rubbish fire on the 8200 block of S. Western Ave.
Units assigned: Battalion 11, Task Force 66, Engine & Rescue 57, LAPD 77th Div.
E57 was initially dispatched alone and requested a structure fire assignment once on scene due to exposures. E57 was able to contain the fire before it spread to any adjacent properties. TF66 assisted with checking exposures, pulling a 2nd line, and knocking down the fire from the opposite side.
