We shot this video in Dawson City in 2014. We were just traveling with our raft on the Yukon to reach the Behring Sea.
Driftwood Holly has lived with his family in the old gold mining town for over twenty years. The master roofer has become a musician who now tours in Germany.

We shot the music video in the middle of the Yukon. The raft, the Wooden Pearl, measures about 6sqm inside, it was super cramped and musicians, as well as cameramen and friends had to be in the picture, because no one could stand behind the camera. In about six hours we had the shoot in the can. The two protagonists in the old rowboat are Joachim Kreuzer and Manfred Schroter. They were just passing by that day. It fit well into the film.
I wonder if a music video has ever been shot with 6 people on 6 square meters in the middle of a river?
