That getting your visa when you arrive no longer exist. You have to apply in advance and show prove that you have booked your flight to Nigeria. It now takes 5-7 business days to get the visa

I didn’t go with any empty suitcase o.All of them were filled with stuff for us to use and then gifts to share back at home.I had more empty suitcases coming back this way except the one I used to fill my food stuff but anyways maybe that’s for those that have no family there

Yes that's true, most people with family at home will have emptier suitcases to use on their way back. On another note, I feel Nigerians at home prefer cash to gifts (Is it just me?). I don't even bother with gifts anymore unless it was specifically requested. Thanks for watching dear 💛

Very useful video! Especially about the yellow fever card... A question about deodorant... When you get to Nigeria, would you be able to do a video about your recommendations for mens deodorants available in Nigeria? (I think you could have some fun with that!) And also... You mention the UK and US a lot... but you never mention Australia! Keep doing what you're doing!

Thank you for watching Steve. My husband read your comment and told me that the best bet in "old spice" and "dove". Hubmart suprmarket in Lagos has a great range. Note sure I'll be best suited for a video on it but will think about it lol. Sorry I never mention Australia...need to shoutout my viewers from other locations too :) Thank you for the encouragement.

I travel to Lagos on December 17th and will be there 30 days. Will the weather be cold or hot? Here in the States it is winter season in December and January.

It was an amazing experience. This was my first time. I think I missed a few tourist spots but ultimately had an amazing time. My tour guide was Nigerian professional and knowledgeable. We don’t know anyone here. I would not advise coming here for the first time to explore without a guide if you want a full experience. I do agree with everything Funke states in this video including the fact the old bills are not accepted. I am so happy I chose Nigeria for my first African experience.

Oriental Hotel Lagos, Radisson Blu, Four Points By Sheraton, Lagos Continental Hotel (Formerly Intercontinental), Fahrenheit Loft. There are many others but those are a few. Hope that helps and hope you subscribed :)

You should buy a portable charger, and also buy a wifi mobile device, and you should install Boss Revolution and or WhatsApp onto your phone!! Boss revolution cost money, though WhatsApp is free. A sim card won't be needed if you have wifi and the phone apps.

I'm coming in 3 weeks how much money is enough to bring.we are staying one week.. One Nigerian friend says 1000 dollars is enough..one says 1500 and its a suggested traveling allowance..

It really depends on how you plan to spend your money. I think 1000 is doable but if you choose to eat out on the island in the fancy restaurants daily and visit expensive nightclubs, it might be tight. But yes 1000 is doable! Hope that helps!

Exchange money at Eko hotel in Victoria Island (not at the hotel itself but in the arts and craft building inside the compound). They tend to have the best rates. Hope you subscribed to my channel.

@@SassyFunke Only if you are travelling from a country which has a high risk of yellow fever according to your link. Been to Nigeria several times and have never been asked for yellow fever vaccination proof.

@@edwingarcia9626 Been without a vaccine. Re: catching it in Lagos, it depends on where you are. i am also take a lot of precautions, always cover up in the evenings when moquitos are out and use lots of repellant etc

TheFashionLiaison to be honest I'm scared of the yellow fever vaccine I only wanna take hepatitis a, polio, and meningitis. Are you afraid of taking it? I thought about going to leki Island and never step out at night.
