It's time to upgrade our RV's table! The factory one in our RV just isn't cutting it so today we look at the Lagun folding table leg, in our opinion the best option for small spaces in your Van Conversion \ Tiny Home. This table leg worked wonders for us!

We kept finding we needed a folding table. This is so easy to store. ru-vid.comUgkxStL0QRChBju4aQlnTrRgBZvafFog0KU3 Opening and closing is easy as well. It has a great handle for carrying around the house. Its pretty lightweight and slides around easy. We bought it for our daughter’s first sleepover. Breakfast was a blur - but 12 7-8 year olds fit at the table with room to spare. We used it at thanksgiving and 6 adults fit comfortably on each side plus 2 on either end for a total of 8. Super easy to clean up afterwards as well.

I bought one for my sailing boat and on the weekend I was due to install it a storm blew in and sank the marina where my boat was. 80 boats were lost, mine included. The lagun table went down with the boat. 3 months later the salvage operation recovered my boat from the seabed. Once it was safe to get onboard I started looking through all the mud, sludge and pools of water on the boat in search of the table pieces. Amazingly I found them all. After a jetwash and a lot of cleaning I managed to remove all the mud, salt, diesel and engine oil from it. 2 years on I'm now ready to install it again. This time on my narrowboat. So I think I'm pretty certain that my Lagun table arm has had the most extreme durability test. Not many products could withstand 3 months on the sea bed!

Jonathan Fox wow that’s crazy! Seems like incredibly bad luck having the boat sink like that 😞😞 sounds like you are living the dream! Would love to learn how to sail but children on boats makes me nervous 😬

@@AdventuresWithRosy Sailing is quite dangerous. You're right to be cautious. I've now retreated to the inland waterways and now live on a 60ft long steel narrowboat. It's much more leisurely and safer for kids and pets alike. :)

The Lagun table system is brilliant. We installed it in our bus years ago and it has totally been worth it! We have 2 mounting brackets so the table can be used in 2 different places . . . at the rear and at the front!

Interesting if you could slide the table onto and off the Lagun leg, same as you can slide the leg into and out of the mount connected to your seat base. That way you could more easily store both the table top and the Lagun leg.

Yeh you’re right you can slide the two parts apart then stash them in your storage. I don’t think the leg came apart into two pieces though 🤔 I can’t quite remember and we don’t actually have that RV anymore!

Wrap your posts with carpet (warm and soft) I used Goop as an adhesive.

The Lagun table design is ok, but it would be superb if the top vertical piece would slide horizontally instead of being fixed.

GREAT video that I VERY much appreciate you sharing with us. It looks like it has been a few years since you installed the table, how happy are you with it now? Have you learned anything that might be useful to other folk like myself who are about to buy one of these tables? Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dale 👋 yup it’s been a few years (hence the bad video quality haha) we actually sold that motorhome as our family grew when we had twins 😅 the table was really good though, had no issues with it at all for the year or so we had it. I didn’t take it down much to be honest just left it up and pushed it into the corner... one thing people have messaged me about is if your cushions over hang then they might press up against the leg, in which case you might need to pad out the bracket with some more wood and longer bolts 👍

Thinking I might get two mounting plates for the boat so I can easily change the location of the table and have it double as a cooking bench. Glad to hear that it worked for you and your family!

Our table mount clamp seized in less than a year of purchase. Lagun wont honor a warranty claim and we are left with a table that swings around damaging our van build. Way over priced in my opinion! Replacement parts are also over priced! Buyer beware, consider alternatives.

I had that opinion too untill I received mine. The thing is heavy and sturdy, very well built. And everybody wants them which keeps the price up there. I got a better deal from Ebay $145. + free shipping

Nice product, but the company has really poor customer service. They charged me for a part they never sent, refused to issue a credit then blamed it on me for not checking the box within 5 days of receipt! Not my responsibility to do their quality control. Cut-throat business practices.
