Saw them a few days ago in Bratislava, went completely unprepared, I never listened to them much, I did things like FLA, Front242, NitzerEbb in the 90s, now I mostly listen to modern forms of jazz, so I expected a kind of boring primitive retro, only good to meet some old friends. So, well, this Love is still Alive blew me away completely. Musically superb, great production, so sophisticated I think they could be invited to the Bratislava Jazz Festival, as playing and improvising with the theme on this EP is kind of jazzy, but above all, the atmoshpere was great, this part was funny, chilling, deep. Why the hell does Rammstein fill up stadiums, while this is niche? Unfair. So I went home and played this on proper speakers, sounds awesome. What a discovery.
Seriously... Country and Synthwave are two of my favourite genres... Country because it sings of emotion , and sythwave because.. well... I'm a child of the 80s... pixelart (video OR audio) just makes it that much better...
I went to the concert in Leipzig (Schauspielhaus) and i knew what i had to expect. This complete tracks blew my mind. The sound, the visual effects, my feelings… tears, goose-bumps, … @Laibach Thank you for this amazing artwork.
Their shows: a healing experience, facing you with your fears, your feelings, while completely sober. They are talented and professional artists, actors, musicians, performers, poets, all of the band members and crew. Their collective work yields a mind blowing result of a show. I've seen them before and will see them again, whenever I can. And they never disappoint. Always a surprise, yet exceeds all expectations. All respect for your work, and thank you, @Laibach!
Saw these dudes in Copenhagen last week - they're flame-grilled is what they are! But very entertaining too Well Done Guys for being different and ploughing your own furrow. Great Gig.
It was excellent, especially how they switched from one album in one genre and one language to the other two we hadn't heard live yet. Sheer brilliance, and that Cohen cover just hit damn hard!
I admit that, knowing Laibach thanks to my mother's CDs, which date from the 1980s, hearing the group that made Necropolis in a space-synthwave-country album... Very very disturbed... Why do I have a little impression of Jean-Michel Jarre in addition?
@@ArgumentShow Is that the famous best-selling 12" single ever?? It's my fave dance track in the whole world. I have the cover up on my wall as a reminder of Great Art ! Thanks 🙂
