This episode has converted most reactors into shipping Marcille and Laios (which, fair, people can ship what they please) but it’s nice seeing you both vehemently sticking with Farcille 😂 personally I saw Laios being creeped out when he was forced to palm Marcille’s ear because he ALSO knows that’s his sister’s girl 😂😂😂
dryad covid 😂 love how everyone questioned laios when he asked marcille to take off her pants, it's to make sure there's no gap between you legs when you turn into stone
Seems like most people don't realize that Laios ribs got broken when Falin hit him during their encounter with the Mad Sorcerer / Lunatic Magician During that scene where Falin hit Laios in the chest , you can hear like something is cracking and Laios fall unconscious
26:37 that's the point, as they said, no one knows. I think that everyone's effort to heal Marcille combining: Chil's herb, Senshi's cooking, Marcille's curse resistance herself and Laios' healing spell. That's way, it's more meaningful as it shows that everyone plays their own part to contribute , no one's effort is meanless. This was emphasised as Laios said it would take *months* to *years* for a normal person to heal, and it just took them *4 days* to heal Marcille! 26:22 In fact, Marcille referenced Farlin. In ep 11, a flashback shows that little Farlin has a gift for magic, can see ghosts and well handle with them (ep 5) that means this ability might run in Touden family, or at least, Laios also has a talent for it, too. 17:41 in this moment, Laios unlocked his hidden trait as he used magic for the first time.
This was such a much needed light-hearted episode after the intense ones of the last few weeks. Fun reaction too! As for the voices Laios hears when he's tripping out, I don't think any of them are Falin (I could be wrong), but rather the spirits that are stuck due to the mad mage's spell.
Yeah, we had a poll up and that was the final decision. We also saw that the dub wasn’t always accurate with the translation and we wanted to watch the most accurate version of the show. We did really like the English VAs. - Andrew
It was Laios spell in my opinion. His healing magic, although it was weak, it worked the first time he tried. Also, in the manga there was never a real Farcille Ship interaction, its just fans shipping two best friends.
I can definitely see why fans did the Farcille ship, it kind of looked like it was real on the hot spring episode, I wonder if the anime will try to make it a thing.🤔 -Leon
Dwarves and Gnomes have very little mana so the few that 'use magic' befriend and ask magical spirits like Undine to use it for them, with mixed results. Chilchuck and Senshi might take decades to learn effective Gnome magic. Falin tried to teach it to Laios and failed because he just doesn't have her kind of spiritual connection. Elves have high mana and command spirits to generate specific effects such as 'heat x area y degrees for z time'. That scientific approach is intuitive for Laois, but he's a Tallman human with only middling mana. You're right about him having potential but being really inefficient or ineffective after just one lecture and four days reading a book
