Planning a ride last night and looked for some video of the area, saw this and changed my route, turned left and those three bridle ways were the highlight of my holiday in the lakes! Thank you!
Love that area, there used to be Scout Camps at Wray Castle and Park A moor, and the wider tracks were used for the RAC Rally in the past so I have even walked some of those in the dark. Can't wait to be allowed to travel up there again.
This looks awesome. I’ve done Parkamoor a tonne of times, but like you had never tried that left at the view over Coniston. Will be trying it out after lockdown for sure 🤘🏻
Recognised a couple of those trails, the grandad, dad and dentist one is brilliant loved it when we did that one. And to end the video, we get to see the bangers Top Gear are using as well 👍🏼nice video
Funny youve just messaged. I’ve just finished watching your last 3 videos. (I like to save a few up and binge watch 😂) Yes I really enjoyed those sections.
@@TrailFinder nice one 👍..managed to get up to the lakes last week for an icy ride not sure when we'll get up there next though .. so was good to watch your video and make myself even more depressed lol
Some belting descents there mate, recognised some of those, what a trail that grandad, dad & dentist was, highlight of the ride when we did it, fantastic video, great riding 😃👍
My son and I did almost that exact circuit summer 2019. Absolutely loved it one of my favourite rides. Of course it was nice to stop for a pint in satterthwaite, remember those simple pleasures? Thanks for the content, stuck in the bad flatlands of East Anglia and missing the hills, this helps.
that`s a little gem,i thought i recognised grandad, dad and dentist from a ride i did from hawkshead a couple of years ago but wasn`t sure till andy confirmed it, another added to my list.
The 3 witches has to be one of the best bridal ways down there, I do a very similar route but e, tend it over Claife then back to High Cross via Hawkshead. Nice vid 👍
All this on my doorstep Love your vids you make them look a good flowy trail My plotted rides have some good sections and plenty of sh*t ones 🤣 Had a good snowy run from home up steneskeugh (can't spell it) up wildboar then up lady anns highway to cotherdale was pretty nippy up top my gear cables froze I binge watch your vids the loughrigg oxon fell one is my favourite looking route that I want to tackle when lock down eases What do you do for a job? You don't have to answer that if you don't want to
Thanks mate. I’m very ruthless with the footage. For example I had around 2 hours of footage for this ride. But after editing I got a 12 min video out of it. Any longer sometimes and the video becomes abit boring. You can ask me anything I don’t mind. I’m a joiner by trade. But mostly install wardrobes and bedroom furniture theses days. It’s pretty flexible. So get days off through the week. Which is my fav time to ride
@@TrailFinder aha so you really only upload content that seems decent material 👌 I see We've 3" of snow and its icy watching these vids makes me want to get out there, but ice isn't a good combination I cant afford time off work to much to do if I came off and injured myself, plus no sick pay 😢 being self employed... But its nice to get a bit of freedom and flexibility in the working week I need to plan more me time theres no medals given for meeting demands of others...
All good here !! The Deviate is a great weapon against the mud I’m literally stuck with in Woburn! You end up wheel spinning twice the distance you’re riding! Being able to shift into any gear on the beast even stationary and without pedalling is most definitely it’s party trick ! But until I can travel I’m yet to blast it down some rocky rides . We’ve had a spate of bike/dog thieves down here .So make sure you don’t leave yourselves vulnerable!
Loved it, reminded me of when we rode, footage is pre gimbal so not as good as yours but linked it as a weather contrast 😉. By the way did I note you were riding with knee pads on 👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ooMlgX5M3xE.html
