Watching a Huell Houser episode is like visiting a place with a friend for the first time. He would have been great to hang out with and explore some fun places to visit. We miss you Huell. You left such a beautiful impression on us all! YOU were California's gold!!❤

Too bad he didn't make it down to the lake itself just to get a nice view of the scenery from the shoreline and maybe see some of the folks with their fish they caught.

Yeah I unfortunately lived in Hemet for awhile and when I first arrived I heard about lake hemet and as soon as I found out you cannot go into the lake and swim I didn’t even waste my time driving up there. Hemet sucked and local areas like this would have made living out there half way decent but no. Highly DO NOT recommend that area
