Whitefish top lip overhangs the bottom and a herring the bottom lip goes to the top.

The reason I say that is because I don’t see them around too much when I salmon and steelhead fish the Lake O tribs. Lots of snagging and poaching going on but no MNR is sight.

Yeah i totally hear you on that man.. its pretty sad to see the amount of abuse that goes on when the salmon run

Awesome video Dan! Looks like a great time! I will have to look into one of those diesel heaters...never seen those before! Also - if you adjust your frame rate on your flasher camera it will help clean up the footage. Can't wait for the next one!

Last year the ice was somewhere around 25 inches and we used shiners exclusively from dales bait and tackle. Also the guys from robs fishing charters told us where to go
