Thanks for taking the time to place a comment, Allan. I love RIO lines too, they are all I use. They have so many stillwater options to choose from. Cheers, Phil

Well dang, they listened 😊, my orange line can now be replaced by the NEW Rio gray/olive hover line . I think that will help in clear water situations, especially on a sunny calm day. Thanks for mentioning the light series lines for slow rods. The new stillwater floater in aqualux looks to be a great line also. Out of stock for now. Fly industry is having a hard time getting products in stock. If U see something you want, BUY it .

I wish Rio made the hover line running line a different color than orange. Stealth in stillwater with camo lines is a a reason for success on big fish. We do not need high vis orange for a sub surface line. On windy days with chop on water you aren't looking at your line. I fish from a float tube in very clear water.

Hi, they do. The original Hover line did feature an orange running line. This has now been replaced, for a few years now, with an olive running line and grey head. www.rioproducts.com/products/intouch-hover Cheers, Phil

Hi Phil. Pretty sure that I have heard you mention a sink tip line for stillwater. I have an old line but am looking to replace it but I am having trouble finding a 5 or 6 wt line. Any suggestions for me? Thanks.

Hi Barry, the only sink tip I use is the RIO Midge Tip or Midge Tip Long. The Midge Tip has a 3' clear intermediate sinking tip and the Midge Tip Long has a 6' intermediate sink tip. These are both available in 5 and 6 weights. Cheers, Phil

I want to buy the InTouch Stillwater Floater line but have not been able to find it in Alberta, do you have any suggestion?

You should be able to find it through one of the fly shops in Calgary or Edmonton. Your could also try the Fishin Hole. If they don't have it they could possibly special order it in for you. Cheers, Phil

From the shore line of a lake a 20 feet front taper line with a thick tip is the best for indicator or team of flies due to long head of about 45 feet and when over head casting it has a wide open loop that prevents tangled, and this line is the 40 plus from airflo the rio indicator line is more like to cast from boat or river.😂

Hang markers are still available on the RIO Fathom sinking lines. Thanks, Phil
