I mean most of their recent picks haven’t panned out whether Lakers kept them or traded them because their scouting department have been iffy. 2018: Mo Wagner(Role Player) 2019: Deandre Hunter (Role Player)and THT(Role Player). 2020: Jaden McDaniels (only guy lakers should regret trading away but considering they got Schroeder who was decent, not the worst. Also Thunder were just as dumb to trade him on same night to wolves for the bust poku). 2021: Isaiah Jackson (role player). 2022: Dyson Daniels(role player) and Max Christie (still on team). 2023: JHS (not even cracking rotation. If lakers want to keep their picks, they need a better scouting department to find better talent in the draft.

@@garyblubaugh2517 True but AD needs to play the 4 primarily. You need a quality starting 5 then and that’s Capela plus he has expiring deal. Bogdan gives you some solid scoring. Caruso is no-brainer if Chicago breaks up their roster. Then get another quality 5 to eat up some minutes.

Nothing they want to trade is the correct answer. They don’t want to trade rui, reeves or Christie. There three most valuable player assets not name Ad or lebron.
