We watched this one together! It brought great memories back for both of us. He liked watching you enjoying a song from our past, He also agreed with you saying it is a respect thing for newer artists to sample old school lyrics and beats in their songs. He has said before you remind him of him when he was younger. He loved your humor. Fun reaction !! Blessings also to you and your family ❤️💙🙏✌️
The song ended too early...Lakeside was among the BEST concerts back in the day! Next to Earth Wind and Fire...they jammed for 2 hours no one sat down!! "From 9 until", "All the way live", "Pull my Strings"...70s best decade of music!! Culio?! LOL! They paid BIG bucks for the rift!!
I love this… and I love watching MRM try to recall why he knew this (Coolio), & i love watching MRM doing their dances 😆😆😆, this was a lot of fun , great choice @Debbie B! 🖤
hey ty, I'm from Decatur il . love what you do. big fan!. try to keep saving Illinois. after 44 years , me and my family are moving to Missouri. stay strong sir. keep teaching people the word of God!
I was 18 and working my first full time job at a card store when this came out. Love the late 70’s, early 80’s music. Great memories. Then I started working at the Post Office. It was all downhill from there!😂
Ok You Tube, why did you make me wait 8 months for this to be in my list? Love the sounds of my youth. There were so many different sounds to enjoy back then.
You said you would have never known this was a Lakeside song and we would have never known it was sampled by Coolio. We listened to Coolio's version last night. He also shouted out to the Staple Singers and the Supremes which as you said pays respect to the ones who came before him who made an impression on him. Coolio's version has a great message great song --- thanks for mentioning that because now we have heard another new song through your channel
notice you were Really digging the base, if you want to check out the greatest Bassist (imho) you need to react to The Brothers Johnson, Stomp or other hits, Lionel Johnson is just Stupid Good recognized as the father of the "slap bass" and it heavily featured. another good time "all skate" joint from back in the day!
Would love to see you react to W.A.S.P. - Golgotha the official lyrical version. Blackie Lawless, the singer, has come back to his faith and this is a very powerful must watch and listen. Cheers from Australia.
Hey Ty - I would love to see your reaction to this song. This was a huge hit. "Love Will Find A Way" by Pablo Cruise. This live version is off the charts! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sdRfVPNl3Lw.html
Me a white guy had to listen to a black station to hear this. Got introduced to it by white friends. The station was in Tuskegee, Alabama, home of the Commodores(lionel Richie), Call letters WBIL "We believe in love".
