Lakeside Hits include Fantastic Voyage, It’s All the Way Live, Something About That Woman, RAID, I Want to Hold Your Hand, Real Love, YOUR LOVE IS ON THE ONE(my absolute top song by this great band), and Your Wish is My Command. Those are a few of my favorites! I love this one! I had not heard it! Great request and reaction Ashley! I was one of the fortunate ones to have been born in that era! We had so many great 👍🏽 🎵 songs!

I've been waiting for you to do this one. Yes, this is true when a soft hand to the face and gentle eyes and a warm smile, a kind word can make a world of difference to a man. That woman is priceless to me. One of my favorite songs ever. I saw them in high school when they were the original group. I really appreciate your reaction to this song. The lead singer. His name is Mark Woods Jr. He most likely was singing to Sharon Hill, one of the original Soul Train dancers who danced with (Tyrone Proctor. May he rest in peace.) Mark and Sharon have been married for over 30 years

Lakeside was not known so much for their ballads. But for a funk band to have been considered a bonafide funk band you had to have what we called the funk ballad, also.
