Great video of great place for campers and rvers. I'm not one of those but its a great place obviously. But I enjoy all your videos. We will down there soon at garden city beach. That's our place now since 1982. Be our 41st year and 43rd week at garden city
Hello! Noah here! ME and My family are very close friends with the owners of lakewood. These videos put out really help get opinions of others about the campground. Thank you for coming out and staying at the campground. ( No I am not joking with the comment, so please no hate )
Ocean Lakes is my FAVE...have been going for several years...camper at first, but now (& the last few years) we rent houses. ....HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! They also have a small water park/lazy river, camp store, snack bar, arcade, etc... :)...They also have "Halloweekends" in October where people decorate for Halloween & the kiddos trick or treat around the park...excited to be going this year TWICE...summer & one of the "halloweekends" ;)
Not sure about rentals but they used to do valet service. I park my camper down there in a storage lot. I say I'm coming Friday and the pull it out and put on the spot for you. When you are done they put it back. You pay storage and and the nightly rate when you stay.
We always stay in the Rennaisance Tower and it overlooks the campgrounds so a couple of years ago we went over to Lakewood to see about buying a place as a rental. It's a very nice place!
Lakewood looks like a great campground but we've never stayed there, mainly because they don't allow personal golf carts. A big part of the fun of vacation is cruising around on the golf cart! Waste of money to have to rent one when we own a really nice one. We go to Ocean Lakes. Have been camping there for about twenty years and actually keep our camper in storage there.
Hey Carmen & Brian. Great informative video. Hadn’t never been to this one but may have to give it a try. We have been to Pirateland and Ocean Lakes. Mostly stay at Ocean Lakes. Have you done a video on Pirateland? I looked through your videos and didn’t see any or I may have overlooked it but I have heard that they have sold off some of their property. Wondered if you guys have heard any news on that? Thanks for the video again.
We don't have a video on Pirateland yet but hopefully we will be able to film it eventually. I think some of the land is changing hands related to that camping resort. I've seen some news articles about it. My vague understanding is it will still be a camping resort but part of it will be under different ownership.
7:50 They unfortunately don't have any campers you can rent. Same as Ocean Lake and Pirate land, you can pay a fee to store the camper. Then whenever you want, you can rent a site and they will pull it in. If you store at like Ocean Lakes and they are full, they will pull it to Lakewood for you! Its an amazing collaboration!
