Those who are saying Joel doesn't preach about sin, yes, you are right. His message brings about the revelation of the love, mercy and grace of God. And the bible says that Grace leads us to repentance. It is through listening to sermons by Joel, and his sister Lisa that I was reminded of God's amazing grace, and because of that, I repented of all the bitterness and unforgiveness I had in my heart and now I am free and enjoying my relationship with Jesus. I am more aware of the need for the word in my life, walking in His righteousness, and the importance of showing others grace as I have been shown!
You know what? I never listened to his sermons, for I considered him a compromised prosperity teacher...but in last couple days I was kinda led to his channel and came to the similar conclusion as you...only God knows our hearts, we shouldn't be fast to judge others! Still, I think that there should be a balance between our understanding of God's love on one side and His righteousness on the other...God bless you!
Noni T Praise God for ur salvation! Yes his messages are on love, grace and all.. but sin, repentance etc; must be preached also. Because God is righteous, holy & just & we are opposite! We’re sinners and being a sinner we should be condemned & deserve wrath upon us.. but all of our sin & guilt was on that tree which His Son hung up on to be bored away from us because He loved us! That’s true & sincere love!

Jesus told his apostles what message to bring to the people of all the earth. "Go into all the world and Preach the Gospel! Joel does not do this and says, "I don't want to beat people up." Joel has no Idea what what Gospel preaching is.

I'm from South Africa, though I have my church but I always don't miss a service of Ps Joel Osteen. It's so touching to see his son following on his footsteps, God has really blessed this family. I pray my son can love God like this, though at the moment he listens to other people's teaching that there is no God. I pray that oneday he realises the reality about God

I just watched Jonathan's Love of the father - I love it. I often wonder though why the old models of the church are fast disappearing - Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian and son on, giving way to now Pentecostal pastors and churches leaving the ministry to their children - like a business - or is it that all of the family is called to preach? maybe.

I think Joel is a genuine believer and a true man of God ! However, I don't like those mega churches. Victoria is a much better speaker than her husband; I like her sermons. I had no idea their son was that involved. Good for them and may they always prosper

Joel Osteen first said,when asked to take his Fathers place preaching....."No,I'm no preacher!" He should of stuck with that decision!! There is no meat in his sermons,if you can call them sermons....and its all about self!!! Its not preaching!! All he does is keep baby christians babies! and of course get himself wealthy!! He is at best a mild entertainer and motivational speaker! and closing his church doors during that hurricane was unbelievable for a person calling themselves a preacher!!! It was totally selfish,if it had caused any damage to his building he definitely had the money to fix it OR pay for motel rooms for the people!!! he's a multi-millionaire!!! Situations like that shows who a person really is!!
