So sorry to hear about the shooting, my husband and I pray for Pastor Joe and the Lakewood church family. I believe because of the praise & worship angels were there protecting the people. Lakewood church always glorifies the Lord and brings the goodness of God.
Today the devil is defeated and his camp is in mourning but for us we'll praise the Lord for the victory. A church of thousands but just a couple of casualties and by the grace of God, the child and the adult that was affected shall recover. The shooting at the Church this morning is exactly how most of the people of the USA are feeling after all that has been going on, they are hurt, and are in hiding, but thank God, he sees our pain and he sent a message this morning by Joel that addresses the issues and gives us hope, amen.

This was so unexpected and unfortunate but I know because I have been a part of the Lakewood community that there is resilience and strength in God for every season. I have been watching Lakewood Church since the 80 & 90's in Southern California and moved in the mid 90's to Maui Hawaii, and now living in Thailand since 2009. I ask of Lakewood Church to please reach out to Maui, Lahina Hawaii for the disaster wildfire that hit the whole town and many lost their homes including daughter and family, and she lost her business. And my heart goes out to the lost of loved ones in the fire. I hear today about the shooting and my heart goes out to all of you with lots of Love and prayers, and know that God is in control over every situation in our life. Testimony: I had a roommate who was a passive believer & thought little of this ministry. We parted as roommates & later someone invited her on a trip to a service at Lakewood. She took the offer figuring she’d have a free vacation. Her name was Georgia. She had terrible burdens, deep wounds & anger so deep it showed up on her face. Years later she stopped me on the street to apologize for certain things. I hardly recognized her. Peace looked totally different on her! She told me about this invitation & how something happened in her at that service at Lakewood that changed her so deeply- it showed up in her countenance. That’s the testimony of good fruit of this ministry.

I was watching the lakewood service as usual, then I seen the news of the shooting on RU-vid . I felt as if my heart sink. As I watched more on the shooting I was happy to know that everyone was safe and well. I'm sure it must have been terrifying for everyone. I pray for strength and courage for pastors Joel and Victoria and all lakewood family in times like these. May God be with you always.
