I think lakshya should stop using calf compressions. It takes away the split second agility which he is known for. It suppresses his fast twitch fibres. Case studies on calf compressions have shown significant impact on agility. Badminton is all about that split second. If you observe you will notice that most games that lakshya performs horrible are tend to be the ones where he uses calf compressions. He should discuss with the physio and go through the studies. In my opinion he should not use them.
@@hareeboy Well calf compressions are used to prevent injury. In the case of MTSS/ shin splints and other lower leg injuries, compressions sleeves play a big role in reducing the strain on the bone and surrounding tissues in that area. It's better to lose a tiny bit of muscle response than to get injured and not be able to compete for a few months.

Men's singles is way too competitive at international level...priyanshu is talented but dont can surpass that level of competition ..maybe one day lile pronoy in his late 20s
Lakshya needs to control unforced errors. Too many of those. His skills and defense is excellent, but you cannot win match on that if you keep losing most of the first 9 points of 3rd game to net skills, etc
Bcs they lin Dan and lakshya exact same height and similar body proportions over that lakshya also have the tattoos like Lin Dan had He had the same spunky look overall like lin dan Also lakshya roams around the court a lot after shot in a very similar fashion as to lin dan..😅
Lol priyanshu and Lakshy both have potential and past matches were head to head tooo so please don't say this stupid thing.! Priyanshu is a good player too🙂
And now commenting on this is my biggest regret...I feel. I never thought lakshya would be so admirable in his first olympics. I thought he was the next pronney type just a normal player...but wow his moves...his smashes his picks... He is not Winning because he is winning but because he is showing his talent the best way. Hats off and hope he defeats Viktor, if he, it's good for us 💯%
