I second this. Tujhe is probably the best romantic song created ever in Bollywood. Plz share stories of this song that why you chose Kumar Sanu for this over Udit who sang most songs in the album. And why you hardly use the legend Kumar Sanu after Kuch kuch hota hai especially for big banner films.
I remember having read somewhere that composers and yash ji weren't happy with udit ji throw towards words like "Tujhe" having bhojpuri accent. Finally decided to record with sanu da and rest is history.
@@thecommonman1083 Well, after KKHH, the big banner films JL did were with YRF. Since, Kumar Sanu and Yash Chopra had a falling out during the recording of DDLJ, he never sang for YRF again until 2014, when songs for Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Ironically, after Yash Chopra's death.

This song was supposed to be sung by Kumar Sanu. He was asked to sing this but when he asked for renumeration Yash Chopra denied and recorded th same in Udit's voice.
And on top of that, the only song Kumar Sanu sang he wasn't paid for it. And to add insult to the injury, Yash Chopra made sure Kumar Sanu did not get the award he was supposed to get.
