In commemoration of the birth-centennial of great American composer, singer and bandleader, Eduardo "Lalo" Guerrero, we share the video recording of the USC Cervantes Club tribute event at USC in 2003, at USC Leavy Library Auditoirium to an intimate crowd that included students from the Lalo Guerrero School of Music and the co-author of Lalo's autobiography Sherilyn Meece Mentes.
Part recital, part presentation, Lalo improvised a song selection custom for the audience, with a mix of funny songs such as Ya no hay tortillas, to heart wrenching such as El Carnalito, and internationally known as Nunca Jamas, as he shares pearl of wisdom from his treasure trove.

En conmemoracion del centenario del nacimiento del compositor Estadounidense, cantante y director de orquestra, Eduardo "Lalo" Guerrero, les compartimos la grabacion de video del evento de USC Cervantes Club en USC, en el 2003, en la Auditorio de la Libreria Leavey de USC, con una audiencia intima que incluia estudiantes de la Escuela de Lalo Guerreo y Sherilyn Meece Mentes, la co-autora de la autobiografia de Lalo.
Parte recital, parte presentacion, Lalo improvisó la selección de canciones para la audiencia presente, con una mezcla de canciones como Ya no hay tortillas, y canciones dramaticas como El Carnalito, e internacionalmente conocidas como Nunca Jamas, compartiendo su sabiduria y corazón.
