Prescott is worse than Lamar in the playoffs. when you look at Lamars playoffs, its easy to not put the blame om him. his 1st playoffs, only played half the season and was a rookie. afterwards, the offense was ran by a caveman that was easy to plan for. last year, they went away from the gameplan that took them to the conf finals. No other QB would succeed more than Lamar if you put them in the situations he was in.

Crazy how revered Harbaugh is conpared to McCarthy the Cowboys coach and they both got the same amount of Superbowl rings. Y'all got so much to day about Doc Rivers coming up short tho 🙄

Let’s break down each Playoff game for these QBs. Dak Prescott: 2016 NFC Divisional vs. Packers Despite being a rookie, Dak played very well in this game, just ran into a red hot Aaron Rodgers. 2018 NFC Wild Card vs. Seahawks Dak was mediocre in this game but they won. 2018 NFC Divisional @ Rams Was not Dak’s fault they lost, the Rams ran all over the Cowboys, Zeke was stuffed all game including on a critical 4th and 1 in Rams territory to potentially cap off a game tying drive. However worth noting, he struggled early which led to the game being 23-7, but then did play well for most of the game and other factors prevented them from winning. 2021 NFC Wild Card vs. 49ers This is the first game where Dak was actually bad in. Started completely flat, did nothing in 3rd down, took some bad sacks, threw a pick deep in Dallas territory which allowed the 49ers to make the game 23-7, before racking up some empty stats nad making it close due to a terrible Jimmy G pick and an untimely false start by the 49ers on a 4th and 1 to end the game, culminating in him not sliding quickly enough and the clock running out. 2022 NFC Wild Card vs. Bucs Statistically this is by far Dak’s best game and he was amazing in it, but it was against an 8-9 Bucs team that didn’t deserve to be on the Playoffs. 2022 NFC Divisional @ 49ers This was a complete disaster class by Prescott. The defense played great, but Dak threw 2 terrible interceptions in the first half. The first one handed the 49ers 3 points and the second one took at least 3, if not 7 away from Dallas and gave the 49ers 3. He almost threw a pick 6 to end the game, and did nothing in the second half. 2023 NFC Wild Card vs. Packers Dak’s numbers look a lot better than he was in this game. He was not the only problem, the defense got torched by Jordan Love and Aaron Jones but Dak was just as bad. He set up an easy Packers TD early in the game with an interception and then threw a pick 6 to put it out of reach before the half. The Packers took out their starters once they went up 48-16 in the fourth quarter and Dak padded about 211 yards and 2 TDs in garbage time against their backups. Another terrible game. Lamar Jackson: 2018 AFC Wild Card vs. Chargers Lamar was not good in this game, but he was a rookie who started halfway through the season and was going up against a far superior Chargers team, so I’m not sure how fair it is to hold this one against him. 2019 AFC Divisional vs. Titans This is a tough one. Lamar’s numbers include over 500 total yards, but he did not play that well and had 3 turnovers in the game and some of those numbers are padded by garbage time. However, the main issue in this game was brutal red zone shortcomings and failed 4th downs. They failed an early 4th and 1 which led to a Titans TD. Ravens should’ve gone for it from the 4 yard line before the half, then on the first possession out of it, failed to convert a 4th and 1 from the Titans 18. They had a chance to make it a game again, but then failed on a 4th and 5 from Tennessee’s 16 and another 4th down from the Titans 21. All in all, not a great game from Lamar. 2020 AFC Wild Card @ Titans Lamar‘s passing numbers were mediocre but he ran the ball very well. Overall played solidly. 2020 AFC Wild Card @ Bills Not the best showing. Lamar didn’t do much on the ground, and threw a brutal pick 6 to make it 17-3 when the game could’ve been tied instead. 2023 AFC Divisional vs. Texans Undoubtedly an amazing game from Lamar. Was efficient as a passer, ran for a lot and had 4 TDs against a young but solid Texans team. 2023 AFC Championship vs. Chiefs This was a rough one but wasn’t all on Lamar. The Ravens couldn’t keep themselves together and got a half dozen unsportsmanlike penalties, including the one in the Chiefs red zone after a great play to Flowers that set them back and ended with a brutal fumble at the goal line by Ze. They also threw the ball 37 times, which is not how Lamar, even last year succeeded. The game plan was terrible. That being said, it was not a good game from Lamar. He seemed out of it after his he early fumble despite the Chiefs not being able to capitalize on it. After that drive they went 5 and out, 3 and out, and 3 and out. He then took a terrible sack on the next drive to take them out of FG range. Then came the Flowers fumble which wasn’t his fault but then he threw a terrible pick into triple coverage the next drive to essentially end the game and then got one FG on their final drive. Throughout that entire stretch the Chiefs got 3 points right before the half. So overall, Dak has been better than Lamar in the Playoffs because he has more good games. However, right now, I would definitely trust Lamar more in the Playoffs, because as if recently, Lamar’s track record has been better. Dak’s had a terrible Playoff game each of the last 3 years. Early on in his career he was decent in the Playoffs but recently, the only good game he’s had was against an 8-9 Bucs team. He was terrible in both games against the 49ers and in the most recent one against the Packers. Most of Lamar’s bad games were as a young player, and he did have a great game against the Texans in the divisional round to get to the Conference Championship which Dak has never done.

Lamar without a doubt has been more disappointing. People really look at Dak like he was drafted in the 1st round, not the 4th. Dak has completely overcome ALL expectations for him since being drafted AND he suffered a horrible leg injury that have ended Lamar's Career tbh. As a person that is a diehard Ravens fan and have seen every playoff game. That first lost was in his first year after Flacco got injured, he only played 8 games up to that point and was not ready for the playoffs yet. The next loss our “recievers” at the time dropped 8 passes that game 2 of them being touchdowns. Also that was Tennessee’s best year to this point in recent memory. They then beat Tennessee handedly the following year and had a TERRIBLE loss to the Bills simply awful no excuses. Then he was injured the 2 following years so he didn’t play and then finally he gets back on the winning side of things this year against Houston and like SAS said if Zay doesn’t fumble that touchdown, they may have actually beaten KC. I think it’s OVERSTATED by people that he is a poor performer but people who actually watched the games understand only 2 of them were “his fault”.

Dak came out of Miss State very pedestrian. No Heisman trophy, not even in the conversation. So therefore he was drafted in the 4th round. The only reason Dak gets talked about is because what team he plays for. He’s Tony Romo 2.0, only difference is. Romo is much better QB than Dak Prescott!
