Rewarding laziness and punishing hard work of creators isnt the only downfall of the format. Not only does it cause an addicting dopamine feedback loop in users, but extended use also significantly lowers attention span. My sister has been so absorbed with tik tok that even when shes not on her phone she can barely hold a conversation with anyone. Shes only 30 but I remember holding better and longer conversations with my friends grandma that had dementia

Also besides shorts and other stuff that are taken from other companies, RU-vid has been acting recently so aggressively, like when they see something that is related to software and other education technology videos (if the video of course contains malware and crack + piracy) they'll take the videos down and they won't do anything, and in the other side they let some other creators that are very harmful
