LaMarque High School - 2013 Houston BOTB 

The LaMarque High School Band has been through so much in the pass 8-9 years. I would like to say as a member of the band from 07-11; I am very proud of the progress that you'll have made. This performance is a big step up! Congratulations on Y'all build up and hope it continues to grow more in size and sound.

Don't be an asshole...this band is in its rebuilding stage. 2 years ago, they had a band director tear down the whole program. They've made a huge comeback in only 2 years. This band has put in blood, sweat, and tears to get it back up to where it is now. Don't doubt them now because they are still working..in the next year, they'll be ready to whoop any bands ass. Honestly I don't think anyone understands the depth we've been through. We started from basically nothing and we're making progress, we might not be at our greatest now but all the hard work we're doing will definitely show. People from the outside judge us because they don't know half of what we've been through. We work our butts off and yet still people will always have something to say, but i can guarantee you by the time we all graduate we'll still have the LMHS Groovin Cougar Band Pride.

Plus, this was our first BOTB of the year?! We've DEFINETLY improved since then

aye yo chill out on my band next year we gon be way better than in this video. we had to rebuild or band from literally nothing we started last year with eight people in our band because of a sorry band director who kicked everybody out and this is where we are. our band is going to be ready to battle anyone who THINKS that they can handle us by the end of this summer. see YOU then. -LMHS 'Groovin' Cougar Marching Band
