Pick up my mouth off the floor GORGEOUS!!!! Homes like this are why I love everything Victorian. They did everything with craftsmanship, quality and artistry. I love everything about this home. Can you adopt me?
I love it! The house was not abandoned and not vandalized, but made new again. I love every single improvement. Thank you for showing this restoration to us!
I can't say enough about this house. OMG this is so Beautiful. It great to see that the restorers get and did there best not to take soul out of the house. I am very sure that it costs a bloodey fortune!! If I had the money I would buy it. It's Beautiful!!!!
Marla… you have taken the words right out of my HEART!!! NOTHING COULD BE MORE PERFECT!!!! I am soo in LOVE with this BEAUTIFUL HOME!!! Oh, what I wouldn’t give to be able to see it in person!!!! A DREAM COME TRUE!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💔
Although I don't like the furnishings, I understand why that style was chosen. I like most of the finishings, I say most because while the brick was installed expertly, I could see that the exposed walls made the rooms very dark and closed in. Over all, the house is beautifully done!!❤
The fact that they were able to restore this house and make it look THAT good is amazing enough as it is, but people, come on! 5:58 Why is nobody talking about this?! That’s an ELEVATOR! A VINTAGE elevator! How freaking rare and cool is that?!
How wonderful to see an old house get a new coat of paint and fixed up to great shape. I don't care if it was the house of 2015, it will still look good today. Thanks for sharing the video with us.😍😍😍😍😍
I can’t even begin to imagine the pure joy of living in this absolutely stunning home! The restoration is quite simply out of this world. Thank you for sharing your incredible home with us. Wow! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the architecture of various Victorian Homes. It reminds me so much of my hometown in Pittsburgh, PA. Most of the homes have been renovated and turned into apartment complexes or B&Bs. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely stunning!! Of course it goes without saying that the front verandah is perfectly blissful! All of the stained glass windows, the kitchen (oh my beating heart!), the below level, and all of the detail into each and every inch of the house and gardens - simply stunning. One surprise which, in my opinion, can be improved upon is the attic. What I would have done was to create a serendipity "museum" here, much like old time attics would have been, where children would often find themselves, complete with an old dollhouse, rocking horse, trunks filled to the brim with treasures, piles of old books, magazines, and letters in bundles with ribbon; wardrobes filled with dress-up clothes, etc. I would have finished the walls and ceilings to modern day specs, used period wall paper. An attic is an ideal place to cram old collections and ephemera, properly displayed, and awaiting discovery for each person! Thanks so much!
One of the most spectacular houses I️ have ever seen!! Just incredibly beautiful!!!! I’ve always wanted a house like this since I️ was a little girl, but not in this lifetime, but I️ can dream!
Antedon Did you see the Giant Giraffe in the Attic ( O' Wonder of Wonders ) It was all lit up from the inside out ... And the Monkey hanging from the rafters ... Take a Second & Third Look ... Everything seemed so very whimsical with just a hint of magical ... don't you think ?
It takes a great deal of vision and an endless amount of cash to restore a huge Victorian manor. If you do the work yourself, it can be daunting though you will spend less as contractors are more expensive than materials. Restoring four Victorian homes in twelve years proved to be quite an achievement thus leaving a lasting legacy for the next generation in the 21st century. SAVE A VICTORIAN
Jeannie, can you help me fix the house? Oh Yes master. Blink! Oh Jeannie, it's beautiful! Your evil sister's not going to come around is she? Oh no master, remember we put her in her perfume bottle and then gave her back to HER master. And the evil Blue Gin? Well he was in the vacuum cleaner in the ocean but I'm not sure now. Still, you did a beautiful job on the house. Oh thank you Master!
Beautifully done out & probably very age appropriate but personally I found the drapes around the windows a little too heavy & light obscuring. They feel like the are sucking the light out of the place.
Hi Donna, I am sorry that I do not know what product it is. The owners who moved this house to the island and renovated it, has since sold the house. If I ever hear from them, I will ask.
It looks like they jacked up the house and put in a totally new foundation. Or a new location? There's one picture where it's next to a gas station, and then it's on a tropical island?
I pretty much despise Victorian shit, but I must complement you on a stunning job of restoring that home. Not my thing by any means, but you have created a very beautiful and stately home. Salute.
