@@stevenduckering8445 But when is he specifically ever talked about i think is what they mean maybe. Quiet guy, not in the media a lot besides interviews when someone gets asked "who's one of the best bass players in the world" will they say John fucking Campbell? amazing bass player for sure \m/
@@Runey7 hes a good bassist, but not really memorable. he has no memorable bass lines, he just plays the riff and follows the guitars, which play some difficult stuff.
Campbell is definitely a bad ass 4 stringer and yes..very underrated..i learned walk with me in hell a few years ago...not only was the process fun..but was pretty damn hard as well...hes a very talented bassist
What a great surprise to see Phil Demmel on Lamb of God guitar! Luxury replacement! He's a great musician and deserves to be in a great band. Left a huge legacy on Machine Head!
Didn't know Phil Demmel was in the band now. He's a badass guitarist for sure. SOLID replacement. What happened to Willie though? I've been outta the loop.
@@ibanezmaestro5630 Willie didn't leave the band, he just couldn't do some shows on the European tour (due to "travel problems"). I read an article that Phil Demmel had been asked to learn guitars for Willie and Mark in case they got sick or couldn't play - and it did.
I cant believe how hard LoG goes after 30 years. But I gotta say that Randy's performance is fucking insane. There are no smoke and mirrors on his voice, dude has been singing with that much balls since the very beginning both live and on album.
Idk if it's only me that realizes Randy is kinda beast on the stage he's like a LION performing with his pride. Salute. Please come to Phillipines soon.
Amazing preformance, how they are that consistent is insane. Their music is on the complex side, lots of timing and notes. And all is live, each time. 1.5 hours of doing that is insanely hard no matter how good or experienced you are.
Amazing performance and Phil Demmel really has shown the world just how brilliant of a musician he is. Phil & Dave made MH's best songs. Helped Slayer & crushed the show. Voi-Lence is still killing it & now can pull off LOG songs brilliantly too. What a great guy. Definitely deserves more exposure & recognition
@@TroopsofDoom666 is Phil full time now? I imagine he will get this full of solos if he sticks around! I am still fuming pissed about Machine Head going Axl Rose. I LOVED that band until Robb lost his damn mind.
Lol greatest LOG Live because of sound recording / mix quality but original guitarist W.Adler was missing so no way replacement can deliver same quality..
Saw them live in London last night and Randy was incredible. Ever since I last saw them in 2006, he’s consistently been a powerful vocalist live, especially with the screams he does. True master of his craft!
Phil deserves to be in a big band. He's a perfect fit for literally every band that he plays with. One of the best guns for hire out there. Killed it with Slayer and Lamb of God - both on bass AND guitar!! - and of course, his time in Machine Head is epic. He also kills it with Vio-lence, but I hope he gets another full time gig with a big band. He deserves it!
@@meteor1522 to be fair, they have completely different styles. To say that Willie Adler is better at playing Lamb of God songs it's the obvious 🤣 I could argue that Phil is (probably) better than Willie at playing his Machine Head albums 🤣 I saw MH with Phil and he didn't miss a single note. It was too good. I think that the only "issue" here is that Willie has a very different style of playing, and perhaps Phil didn't spend enough time with LoG's material to get them 100% perfect.
im miss chris sound .. its different now and missing something i expect to hear .. but anyway it is what it is .. respect to art anyway for good job ..
Phil demmel is a underrating guitar player he did a really nice job during the time with VIO-LENCE and MACHINE HEAD and today has a live musician he still do his job I saw him play with OVER KILL and now with LAMB OF GOD wowwww such a nice job dude !
Before Killing Joke's set, there was a a member or crew throwing L.O.G guitar picks into the crowd. Managed to catch one! My first time seeing them live too 😁🤘
Bloodstock is probably my fav metal festival but even if you are not agree what is out of any doubt is the quality of this event...I'll be there one day for sure! I'm just waiting for unafomable Ruination and Cryptic Shift haha!! Cheers from México mates!!
I’ve waited all these years hearing ghost walking since I can remember and wanting to see it live and I finally did at bloodstock ⚔️ Second time watching lamb of god and it will never get old, absolutely crushed it 🔥
This is the best garage bands I have seen and that is by no means disrespect. We have all been in the "sheds" and one of them got out. This is them! Thank you world!
This is the best of metal, just killing all the songs, Omens/Memento Mori and Redneck are masterpieces, just really hoping they will return to Bloodstock 2024 next year!! Randy is one of the best frontman/singer and all the band is just awesome, I am really awed! Love Lamb of God!! 🖤🤘
I'd have been absolutely gutted not to see Willie, but fair play to Phil, he did brilliantly! Traveling to Berlin (from Bulgaria) to see LOG (again) in March - Can't wait!
