She was like, "Oh that's so nice that you guys listen to Christian music!". We didn't say shit and she popped it in. Almost had a car accident on the way to church haha

fun fact. theres an interview somewhere where randy talks about the part where hes yelling in the older guys face. im paraphrasing but he essentially said it was really hard for him to do because he was a good ole southern boy and was raised to always respect his elders. i just love watching this video and knowing how wolesome the behind the scenes were haha.

Lamb Of God saved heavy music in the early 2000's during the breakup with Pantera and took on from their years later.

Randy might be skinny and non muscular but he has the voice of a 1000 men that is what makes him a badass

11 years later, and I somehow forgot *HOW FUCKING GROOVY LAMB OF GOD WAS.* They were the peak of American metal of that era BY FAR.

This band is so good that I’ve taken 3 years to consume 3 of their albums. When you have to rewind a song at 2 minutes in to rehear the insanity & re-experience the sheer ball tingling beauty that they produce time and time again.

This was the song that got me into metal. I remember listening to this 30 times in a row back in middle school and trying to keep it quiet enough so my then overly protective parents wouldn’t hear it. Time flies.

Ok, so, i just entered the metal scene and I've been checking out the different metal genres and, i think i found my home.

My brother got this album when it released. Singlehandedly the most life changing metal band for me still to this day. Nobody hit me like they did. I was hooked. This song still brings back so many memories of middle school.

When I was a kid and went to catholic church, we always had to sing a song that went (in spanish) "cordero de dios..." (Lamb of God), this is what the priest in this video is alluding to when he introduces the band as 'Corderos de Dios' (Lambs of God) 😂 Also the name above the church in the video says "church of the lost souls", for anyone that's wondering.

I remember LOG was playing in LA one time like 15 years ago. They didn’t have transportation from the airport to their hotel, so posted a message on their website asking for help. I emailed them and told them about my friend Steve’s SUV, which they said would be okay to carry all their gear. We went and picked them up from LAX and it was just awesome to see everything worked out as planned. At this time, they only had New American Gospel, but were just about to release As The Palaces Burn. As a thank you, while we were driving they asked if Steve and I wanted to hear some of their new stuff which hadn’t been leaked or released yet. We said hell yes, and they gave us a CD with the unreleased track for Ruin. It was one of those moments, just listening to that song we knew even back then that this was going to explode and Lamb of God was about to really blow up.

I just can't believe what he says at the end. It never gets old. This song is a monument to failure. I guess we have Mr. Morton to thank for those lyrics.

I am a devout Christian after years of Atheism, but I still love this band. Not sure if they’re blasphemous or not, but I get very deep spiritual messages from their lyrics, and they’re ability to create such heavy, powerful grooves is just sick. Also they’re from my home state of VA. Ashes of the wake is a top 5 all time metal album. These dudes are legends
