The plot to every Icelandic movie: Things are bad. Things get worse. Everyone dies. And those are the comedies!

A24 really seems to love films with female protagonists going insane, nefarious farm animals, and flowery imagery; if someone burns to death it will hit A24 bingo. It's like Hereditary, The Witch, and Midsommar had a love child and I'm here for it.

Finally, the "Mary Had A Little Lamb" adaptation we've all been waiting for

This trailer went from unnerving, funny to full blown disturbing again. I love it!

This film is definitely an metaphor for loosing a child, and grief. I can’t wait for it.

That goat is an incredible actor, I feel so much empathy for that goat shivering after being yelled at.

So their baby died, he screwed a sheep, it had a halfsie baby and the whole movie is us deciding if it’s actually a little lamb-satyr or if the grief of losing a child has driven these people insane?

A24 is becoming very consistent and amazing at mastering the horror genre and proving that horror does not mean just jump scares.

At first glance, it looks like a psychological horror film about a childless woman who is trying to hold on to her sanity by adopting a lamb and raising it as if it were her own child, and the husband reluctantly goes along with it.

I definitely recommend this to everyone. The movie pulled a hereditary where the trailer gave a slightly different feel than the actual movie.

Something tells me this is gonna be like The Omen, only that the couple is raising a real bephomet, and the real conflict here is that the sheep are suppose to raise it from it going evil.

This is one of the most disturbing trailers I've seen, and yet I didn't understand a thing I just watched

I showed my friend just the thumbnail and she said "why am I getting the Witch vibes from it?" and I told her it was produced by a24 that made the Witch! Spot on, my friend.

The most unexpected part was when they started speaking Icelandic

training those sheep to form the a24 logo must have been crazy hard though.

I like that A24 has realized that goats are better actors than people.

I was waiting for the trailer because I couldn’t tell if this was going to be a horror movie, or a drama of some kind….. I’m still not really sure…

I went from thinking this was a horror/thriller, to a gag-comedy, and then back to thriller. It looks great.

First Cow, Killing of Sacred Deer, The Other Lamb, Lamb, The Lobster…All we need now is a Chicken or Rooster film to complete the holy sacrament.

I love how the music they chose is God Only Knows, which is from The Beach Boys’ album Pet Sounds and the cover is the band feeding goats

I loved this film, especially the way it’s disturbing without trying to be disturbing.

So what it looks like from the trailer is a woman grows attached to a lamb, and acts like its her own child. Perhaps she lost her own child due to an illness. The husband sees his wife developing an unhealthy relationship with the lamb so threatens to kill the lamb. She kills her husband instead and wanders off into the sunset with her lamb child. The end. Or the movie is even crazier than that. Edit: Lots of comments and ideas below and they are all good. As i mentioned above, i think the movie will be about attachment with more of a psychological narrative than in your face horror. It could be that scenes were it looks like the lamb is human-like are just in the mind of the mother, who sees the lamb like her adopted child. One idea from someone below is that the lamb has a deformity. Thats plausible. If thats true then it would make it feel more human like to the mother. And the twist is the other animals (mother nature) see the lamb as a freak of nature and go against it. Who knows. Should be fun to watch.

It's like someone did acid and watched Rosemary's Baby and then immediately wrote a remake. And you know what, I'm in

It’s intriguing how some creepy music, surreal imagery and a Beach Boys song can make a movie look so appealing. I know very little about “Lamb” and yet I really, really wanna see it! A24 is brilliant.

Wow the trailer makes you think that Ada was going to be evil. I didn’t even watch the trailer before seeing the movie, it was fun being surprised by the child’s form. Please watch the film, the ending still has me in shambles.
