I got a bit over 6k hours in the 15 years it has been around. The only thing that gets me is that the TF2 physics is slightly different from HL2's and my brain automatically tries things with HL2 in mind.
@@xxsegaxx I usually don't as to not reveal my position to enemies (Which is also mostly due to me being a spy main by default). But I also do spam voice commands when just screwing around.
The fact that scout can do the one thing people want to do to escape the blackout, but still gets smacked into unconsciousness by two metro cops upstairs is absolutely in character.
Best part is that I THINK those cops are there even in the vanilla game and are there for the purposes of catching clever players who managed to escape that scripted sequence.

the perfectly timed voicelines... this doesn't feel real but at the same time it does, and having scout riding a airboat and saying it sucks....this is perfection.

This gives off vibes of playing a level in a LEGO game in freeplay mode and playing all kinds of random characters that don't at all fit the situation.

I knew about this mod since 2020 or prior. The idea of playing through HL2 as TF2 characters is really nice and fun. I just wish I can play it with others.
I was really hoping you would use the "Prognosis? YOURE DEAD!" to one of the dead bodies in that chapter where you are in the sewers and you see a bunch of charred corpses
I like that you basically cannot proceed just because medic's syringes get stuck in the fence, then you go try to shoot these barrels from afar and die. Then you try soldier, he wrecks entire field and game crashes. This is hilarious! xDDDDD
Imagine with me if you will, your the puppet leader of the human race, your chilling in your high security office when, out of no where, a cartoon one eyed Scottish man teleports into your office, while in the middle of playing the bag pipes, and before you can call for help, he laughs at you then teleports out.
this is such a fun playthrough to watch lol idk how you have so much humor and charisma through so few lines XD also its cool bc it looks like youre an experienced hl2 and tf2 player so its more interesting
You should have done the Oblooterated Taunt for at least one of the teleports. That would have been a perfect reference. But, laughing at Dr. Breen was pretty funni.
You can tell this man mains Demo by the way he nails those stickies from so far away. He has a very intimate feel for the arches and charges of that launcher.
