Dale Farm is the most beautiful place in the world. No video could ever be boring with that scenery. Which is why I look at my Dale Farm 2024 Calendar every morning before I head out.
I think we've finally turned the corner with the weather. Always great to see when all the lambs gang together and run about. Great to see everything going well. All the best 🇬🇧.
Your videos are never boring they show the amount of work put in by farmers to put food on our tables. I know what you and Nick are going through, I have spent a week with my daughter and her husband just recently in North Devon they are lambing and calving , it's bloody hard work 24/7 people don't realise that. I worked delivering poultry feed that was another job that went on 24/7 which at times went completely mad. You and Nick are doing a marvellous job and I'm proud of all hands on agricultural workers.
Hi Dale farmer you have class sheep and lambs and your working very hard with them girl your a lovely farmer girl yourself keep up the good work with them girl xx ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are go go go all day. Don't know how you do it quite frankly. I am amazed by the cinematic quality of your videos that you create all the while doing your chores. How many hands do you have? 🥰 You are an incredible individual Joanna! I am so pleased that Angel pulled through thanks to your TLC.
What a difference the weather makes !! Well done on all the fine lambs you have now your great care and attention is paying off so 100% you should be very proud of yourself 👏 👏 👏
Our favourite is all the lambs playing together and running around. Love little Angel and pleased shes feeling better. So beautiful. Eleven more mums to go. Awesome early morning views. My mum used to work on a farm and said, early mornings are the best part of the day. 😊😊 was that a Hare at the start.
What a view you have there Joanna there is nothing better to see the sun out all the lamps running around the field you @ Nick have done a great job hope the sun keep shining for you 👍👍👍
The weather and the view were so beautiful! All those sweet lovely lambs. It makes me want to scoop them up in a big hug. I love watching them skip. jump and run together. They all look great and again a tribute to their wonderful care. I never find your videos boring... Take good care.
Yes the wally who said there is no action in your wonderful Dale Farm should rent out a Chuck Norris video. So Beautiful Frosty mornings & then the Wonderful Sunshine & the Triplets playing so so beautiful & nice to see you've brought Angel rejected by her mother to good health Snowy White Beautiful. Very good to see you show the positive & fortunate side of being a Farmer Such Beautiful Top of the World Nature Views Epic Rhapsodic Wonderful & even though there are a few more Ewes left to lamb a Wonderful Achievement Joanna & Nick David xx
Hi Joanna, Some nice footage of the early sunrises. Lovely footage of the lambs all following each other, off to Lamb school together lol 🤣 it's good news that the lambing season is running quite smoothly. Looks like a good start to the year for yourself and Nick, all the hard work is paying off...😃👍🏻
Thank you! It’s been really challenging, not sure I can keep going like this long term, but happy to have made it this far Thank you for the kind comment
Absolutely wonderful footage of all the little triplets running around so healthy and full of life. Joanna, you and Nick have done so well with all you've had to endure; horrible weather, very long hours and dog attacks just to name a few but your strength of character and determination has been there for all to see. Never doubt that you are a very capable farmer. Well done.
Thank you Jeff that’s a really kind and encouraging comment to read. I was having a few moments this last week to reflect as it felt like the first time I could do so… After a challenging and stressful few weeks. It sort of seems like a blur !! Seeing strong happy lambs is a great reward. It’s still not feeling very spring like, heavy rain and 3 degrees this morning and cold wind, day times 5-6 degrees it’s not good really but it’s better than it was !
I feel so good after looking at your beautiful videos. I collect rabbits (not the real ones 😁). Lambs next! You are truly blessed with the scenery. You’re doing such a great job! The ewes and lambs are happy! Angel is so sweet, such a cutie! Thanks for sharing 💕
Absolutely beautiful footage. With the sun rising through the trees, it takes my breath away. To see that little lamb come running right up to you was precious! Do you feed it a bottle or it’s just become attached to you? It looks like you have a new little friend. 🐑
Thanks andy ! Today a cool wind This afternoon,! The morning was better but it doesn’t feel like May, it reminds me Of May 2021 when it felt like spring was never coming!
Joanna, I love your videos! This one in particular I found myself smiling most of the way through. The lambs are lovely, and it’s so sweet to see how confiding your sheep are with you. Truly a gorgeous place, and way to live. Thank you for sharing with us-the downs, and the ups!
My Daughter took little Fred (Grandson) to a local farm to see the little bay lambs ... Got loads of lovely Pics of him holding and feeding them 😇 .... Then! they were invited to go into the field to meet the 'Big Lambs' ..... AARRGGHH!!!!!!! ... They ALL came running at Him & His Mum & Dad ..... Frightened the Bejeezus out of HIM -& THEM!! 😭😭😱 .... No Pics of THAT event sadly .... Can't think WHY! 😂😂
Hello Love, Don't worry about the foolish folks. I love your channel and I do understand how busy and tired y'all are which allows me to be thankful and grateful for what can film and show. My question is how do you know which lambs are having twins and triplets. I see you sorting them before birth. Cya next time bye for now, Steven
Well I'm so glad that your weather has turned out better it is the 28th today and will be getting up in the 80s I think it's going to be a hot one this year love seeing all the little lambs together and I'm sure the more the merrier especially come selling time you've done awesome work still remember flying in at Gatwick seeing the green fields with a little white dots 😁😉🐝
It’s amazing the difference a few days makes! The weather definitely seems to be in April showers now and hopefully warmer at the end of the week 🤞 a lovely boring lambing season would be perfect for any farmer 😆
This morning was rotten but this afternoon has been brilliant! Got some chain harrowing done yesterday, still lambing tho and want it to be done so I can have a rest before the next bank holiday 😑 not gonna happen !!
You and Nick are doing a fantastic job on the farm and campsite! 👍🏼♥️👍🏼♥️👍🏼. Your father is smiling down from heaven! It’s good not to show the action because RU-vid would ding you for it! And you would not make money from the video!
Congratulations on getting through all this, the weather looks beautiful. Every lambing season I watch with you. I just love how the lambs play with such vibrancy Any update on the dogs that chased the sheep?
Hi Carole it was terrible this morning! I was totally fed up going around looking at the situation- hunched up unhappy lambs but the sun came out this afternoon which made a big difference It’s been so cold this last week xx
Take it Nick not a morning person, lambs look very well Joanna so well done, walk in the park for you now you’re confidence has grown but yeah few catching skills on camera would make it.
He definitely isn’t and I cannot convince him to change , not even for lambing time ! Maybe for another year I’ll have to have a walking stick with a GoPro on the end of it , I could jab it into the ground !!
The theory was that ewes lambed in the rain as it subdued the aroma decreasing the risk of predators however modern breeds with bigger lambs, less cover, vigour etc suffer as you know only too well. Could do with their instincts moving with the times! Hope you are both proud of those new fences and gateways! Considering Cammy got demonetised for showing too much I wouldn’t worry too much! Not everyone wants to see everything 🤷♂️
Not boring at all. Please, take some MORE time filming, slower zooming in, longer views of your lovely countryside! I'm glad your content popped into my feed, so many healthy little ones! Especially, as our local shepherd of over 60 years just published he got 16! instead of 80 lambs from his 65 ewes, as they hadn't taken due to stress of wolves around the meadows. All the best from the Lüneburg Heath!
Plus Cammy from the sheep game and Sandi Brock from Sheepishly me have been demonetarised for having too graphic a content because some people can't cope with a spot of blood during lambing. I think youtube should get a grip, if something is natural and not abuse.
