how do modern emissions affect rpms?

@MrPorsche91730 In order to achieve a high rpm, one of the strategies is to decrease stroke and increase bore. this leads to less inertia of the rods and pistons, meaning you can up the rpm limit. the downside to this, is that you get less torque, which means you must rev the motor up higher to get the same power. when you rev a high revving motor, the fuel air mixture doesnt burn as efficiently (since its being thrown out so fast) and that unburned fuel is classified as an emission.
