I wouldn't swap a murcielago for an aventador, IMO the lp640 is so much more beautiful than any aventador and man that sound... RU-vid needs more videos with murcielagos too.

Such a nice guy and you really try but this is probably not good enough if you want to survive in todays current quality of youtube . The right Lambo aside (Murcielago with a manual gearbox), i wholeheartedly agree..also on the emotional side of things. While the Murcielago with it's useless "E-gear" sounds comical when it sets off, shifts horribly and eats clutches, it can at least be defended with 1: age, 2: "The Last lambo", 3: great looks and 4: an amazing engine. The Aventador has a great engine, but only comes with a useless gearbox..and doesn't have age as an excuse. ..adding the numbers as you laid out here, i fully understand why prices are doing what they do. I wouldn't trade a Murcielago for an Aventador either.

There are two LP640s on AutoTrader right now at £190k...but they've been advertised for over 10 months. I think you also need to weigh up the demand for Aventadors vs Murcielagos from UK buyers. It's all good and well thinking Murcielagos are appreciating so a safer bet for your money, but someone has to be prepared to buy it - and that hasn't been the case with those two examples for nearly a year. I think it'd be a different story with the Aventador. Depends whether you're happy to wait around for a buyer, or planning on keeping it. If you are planning on selling it you might want to think about advertising it now!

Well both Lambos are iconic now and the Aventador is the natural evolution of the Murc..Both of them are awesome in their own way..Hats down for Lambos for doing these v12 naturaly aspirated engines where soon all of the 12 Lambos are going to be stopped for a hybrid v10 or v8 engines. I would keep the Murc and buy an Ave when you get enough money..

I'd have a manual Merci/SV or Aventador SVJ Roadster. The problem I had with the Aventador was it's automated manual. It doesn't seem very intuitive and didn't receive much praise. They work abit better in the track specials than in the GT's. I hope the hybridised Aventador replacement gets a better transmission.

Great comparison. Most Murcielagos from my country have been shipped to the UK and it's all Aventadors here. The Aventador (yes, even an IPE F1 exhaust Aventador & Balboni Exhaust Aventador SV) just doesn't sound as great as a Murcielago, let alone a Kresseig exhaust one.

I wouldn’t swap it now coz if ur Lambo keeps appreciating sell it later and buy the Aventador later when u can sell ur mercie then ull have more money leftover if u choose to get the Aventador and plus I think the mercie is nicer

Do Aventadors/Lamborghinis in general look so amazingly beautiful and stunning? Some guys like blondes, some like brunettes - it's just a matter of taste. To me, there's no better looking car than an early '80s Aston Martin V8 Oscar-India Vantage. But very few will agree with me - and I don't frankly give a damn!!

Always liked your channel, however of late, a lot of the content is a bit “I need to find something to talk about!” My main critique is that your production and audio is very amateurish...you need support in this area. Not a Murci fan really. Far preferred your Huracan or even your GTS. Of the two, I’d have the Aventador.

My immediate reaction is that if Aventadors are decreasing in value and Murcielagos are increasing, there seems to be very, very little logic in considering any kind of swap - unless you somehow stop enjoying yours completely!!
