you would be surprised. i bought a gallardo last year in PA and drove it to Dallas. had the same idea but then realized I want a hotel w a garage in case of hail. its a pain in the ass finding a hotel with a parking garage in most places besides downtowns in big cities. then you end up dropping 180 to 300 a night on hotels w tax and parking. i had to call my cc concierge service to call all the hotels in the route and book acomadations along the way. she had to call multiple properties and id ask the valet if i can self park. most of them are ok with it and let me keep the keys.
