Lamborghini Performante Review: The Lamborghini Huracan Performante was released to compete with the Ferrari 458 Speciale…With a naturally aspirated 5.2 Litre V10 pushing out 631 bhp and 442 lb/ft Torque propelling it from 0-62 in 2.9 seconds, it would certainly seem to have Speciale slaying performance…But, is it a true 458 Speciale competitor?!

Fantastic car! A look to kill for and the most incredible sound! When all cars are electrified people will pay big money just for the sound…

Personally I don’t believe we will ever move to full electric…hybrid maybe but not full electric.

I have a Performante. You don't have to have the car started to open the fuel door. All you have to do is have the car unlocked.

I tried that...I locked/unlocked the car multiple times and ended up having to start the car before it would open.

No, technically Lamborghini released the Performante to compete with the Speciale, even though it was released a few years later.

The Perf stomps the Speciale . This definitely competes more with the Pista.

I think pretty much everyone would disagree with you there… I’d even take my ‘standard’ 458 over the perf. Much better car in every way in my opinion.

@@RichReviews_ I've owned both and there's no way I'd take a regular 458 over a Perf, unless all I cared about was suspension comfort.

Not that much difference between the driving modes...slightly more supple than Corsa but not much...on the sections of road I was driving pretty skittish.

We used the same road section for the F12, Performante and Tecnica. The Performante was a real handful on the bumpy section; the Tecnica though firm, dealt with the section substantially better and was a joy rather than a challenge.

It did...Standard Performante specification.
