m2350 That intake is there for the sole purpose of feeding that supercharger as much air @ CFM as is possible to develop as much hp as possible. Any smaller and the engine would be oxygen starved at full revs. It looks odd, but its necessary.
Steve T Believe it or not my initial comment was sarcasm. I'm aware that the scoop is there for functionality purposes only. The body is the real problem, considering that even without the supercharger the engine still wouldn't clear the hood.
m2350 Hey, it's kind of hard to tell sarcasm in text most times, hell it's hard to tell any emotion at all in text unless it's very purposefully written... lol. I'm not sure how much success they'll have with that body shape for a funny car as it's not as aerodynamic as most other funny car body styles. I'd imagine that if the supercar body design was an acceptable overall shape for funny cars that at least one of the brains in that sport would have recognized it and we'd see a lot more of them on the circuit.

No, it was built from the ground up by a 24 year old. He passed away at 25 so clearly did not get to see his full potential. But, at least his left a legacy, what have you done in your years on this earth that you can say your proud of?

It is only that the modified cars are ruined in your opinion. I always wanted a Lamborghini countache and was hoping myself that this body wasn't original. I'm glad it is not.
+Devory Wilson An exotic car is a finely tuned & built car meant for precision driving. Gutting it & dropping a humongous blown big block in it is just stupid.
Damn, that's a big blower to put on a 5.2l engine :) Maybe it's up in the air like that to give the clearance to get the tubing to the engine in the rear ... or not. It isn't horrible looking, Looks a lot more like the car it's modeled after than a lot of cars in those classes.
Any update on what this car can actually do. This car has some bugs to work out for sure and some issues with design as the engine is pretty far forward which contributes to the traction issue.
someone please let me know what size that supercharger is. I'd love to see someone go completely insane and use one of those on a full billet 5.0 coyote or something fairly small.
all this for a damn 8 sec pass wtf and the tool runnnin on the track directing him just run the damn 1320 tf ? watch matt everett in his 5.3 turbo s14 does a small burn out and runs an 8 sec pass just like that no tools on the track runnin up and down lol
@FAST PERFORMANCE?do you have any updates on the Lamborghini Countach fun car? has they worked out the kinks out of it yet? I saw a test run on this video and the car did a 282.45 mile perhour at 8.807sec. is that fast?
B BOGE when you are testing to get the drag license you have to go a certain speed to prove that you can control the car ... he has to hold back on "what that thing can do" or else he will be kicked out of the drag strip
